This month, students across so-called Canada joined together with banner drops at McGill University, York University, University of British Columbia, MacEwan University, and the University of Toronto targeting our administrations’ roles in funding and normalizing genocide and occupation.
With the resurgence of the bombardment on Gaza by the terrorist entity of “Israel”, now more than ever do students across Canada reaffirm their commitment to divestment and cutting ties. We must continue to mobilize and fight for an end to any and all forms of support for the genocidal occupation at once.
We will not be silent while our universities are complicit in Palestinian death and displacement. The students united will never be defeated. Until total liberation.

🇵🇸 ALL OUT TO UOFT APRIL 2 🇵🇸
As the Zionist entity resumes its brutal, indiscriminate, and genocidal bombardment of Gaza, and as the American state abducts and deports students for standing with Palestine, UofT is maintaining its institutional complicity while appointing a new President to replace the disgraced Zionist Meric Gertler.
New President or not, UofT is still an institution backed heavily by Zionist donors and ideologically committed to the Zionist project. The student intifada must rise to the moment and demand UofT commit to severing all institutional ties with the criminal state of Israel. United, we will win. All out April 2!

🚨APRIL 12🚨 - STUDENT CONTINGENT FOR THE NATIONAL MARCH IN OTTAWA
For over 17 months, Gaza has endured a relentless genocide carried out by the Zionist occupation, fully backed by the U.S. and its allies, including Canada. As our universities continue investing in weapons manufacturers that facilitate the mass killings of our people, we are calling on students to join us as we march on Parliament Hill on April 12th to hold our politicians accountable.
As the election approaches, we refuse to let politicians evade accountability to the people with their vague statements as they continue to green-light Israel’s genocide by funding and arming the Zionist entity. The students demand Canada end its complicity in the genocide by demanding a ceasefire, the lifting of the siege on Gaza, the flow of humanitarian aid and a full two-ways arms embargo.

In response to our campaign, UofT has REMOVED information regarding its partnership with the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (HUJI) from its Middle East and North Africa (MENA) partnerships page.
UofT knows its ties to HUJI are immoral and violate international law; but instead of listening to its students and their calls to drop HUJI, UofT is trying to hide its complicity!

Exactly one year ago today, students at the University of Toronto established the People’s Circle for Palestine. 365 days later, there is still an ongoing genocide in Gaza, and UofT remains wedded to the Zionist project. We vow to continue to organize, sharpening our strategy and tactics, until this institution is compelled to disclose, divest, and cut academic ties. Until liberation 🇵🇸
Yesterday, on the one year anniversary of the People’s Circle for Palestine, we organized an art build and protest, bringing the community back to the lawn we occupied for two months last year. Throughout the art build, we had informal discussions about our new campaign—UofT Drop HUJI—as people made signs, posters, stickers, and more. Despite UofT roping off the field, we marched on to the grass where our tent marks from a year ago remain, demonstrating that the campus will always belong to the students.
We must remember that although the encampment marks a time when the students made their opposition to Zionism abundantly clear to the university, it remains complicit in the ongoing genocide in Gaza. We vow to continue organize the student body at UofT, sharpening our strategy and tactics in the building of a movement that will compel the university to disclose, divest, and cut ties. We will not stop, we will not rest, until the liberation of Palestine.
