OTBA is following the efforts happening in the Hurricane ravaged states of #Florida, #Georgia, #NorthCarolina, #SouthCarolina, #Tennessee & #Virginia

📢❗️ DONATIONS/ SUPPLIES FOR HURRICANE HELENE 📢❗️

We are sending full semi-trucks with as much supplies as possible directly into North Carolina.
On Friday, October 4th from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Saturday, October 5th from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Sunday, October 6th from 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM, and Monday, October 7th from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST you can drop essential supplies off at The American Journey Experience. We will store the supplies and then load it onto semi-trucks for transport to North Carolina.
Supplies we will take:
- Non-perishable food (in bulk, if possible)
- Baby formula (especially lactose free) and baby food
- Bottled water
- Backpacks, suitcases, bags
- Camping equipment - tents, tarps, sleeping bags
- Heavy winter coats for adults and children
- Water proof, heavy duty boots for adults and children
- EpiPen's and chewable Benadryl (yellow jackets have been displaced and are stinging everything in sight)
- Over the counter medicine
- Tupperware
- Headlamps
- Safety glasses
- Contact solution
- Blankets, pillows, or sleeping pads
- Emergency food kits
- Socks, underwear, shoes (new and in package)
- Hygiene and sanitation products (Soap, body wash, toothbrushes and toothpaste, hand sanitizers, feminine hygiene products, incontinence pads/diapers, deodorant, toilet paper, towels, wet wipes).
- Diapers
- Trash bags
- First aid kits and bandages, gauze, and medical tape.
- Tarps, ponchos, rain gear
- Solar-powered lights or chargers
- Portable phone chargers
- Pet food (canned or dry)
- Pet leashes, collars, and carriers
- Batteries
- Sunglasses, sunscreen, mosquito repellent

IMPORTANT: All supplies must be new, still in packaging, and in date. We will not take any loose, expired, dirty, or used item. Please have an inventory of the items you are bringing; this will greatly help our team with distribution.
