On the streets of the French capital police cracked down on May Day protestors, with footage showing them trampling over some caught in middle of baton strikes.
The Olympic spirit is not exactly strong right now either, as some held up the famous five rings and burnt them.

Dozens of classified documents obtained by the outlet revealed that Thales Group, a French IT company, recently delivered electronic components used to build Israel's Hermes 900 armed drones. France owns a 26 percent stake in the company.
According to the documents, the equipment in question is the TSC 4000 IFF transponder.

President Emmanuel Macron blew a hole in his palace’s budget when he held a lavish state dinner of lobster and crab for King Charles last year, an annual audit has found.
The Elysee Palace spent close to €500,000 on the September visit by King Charles and Queen Camilla, which included about €40,000 on wine.
It was one of several gestures of Gallic opulence that tipped the palace into the red by €8.3 million.
