The Israeli army says it has encircled the city of Jabalia, in northern Gaza. It follows several attacks on the refugee camp in recent days.Heavy fighting is ongoing. Israel has again ordered Palestinians to leave residential areas.

Hundreds of thousands of Palestinians remain trapped in the north.
The Palestine Red Crescent Society says four doctors were killed when Al Awda #Hospital was targeted.
So why does Israel keep targeting that area and the refugee camp inside it?

Israeli occupation soldiers carry out a mass detention campaign in the Tulkarm refugee camp in the occupied West Bank.

A temporary ceasefire agreement has been reached in Gaza which will last for 4 days and will be taking place within 24 hours. 22.11.23

The terms of the agreement are the following:

⭕️A ceasefire on both sides, a cessation of all military actions by occupation forces in all areas of the #Gaza Strip, and a cessation of the movement of its military vehicles penetrating into the Gaza Strip.

⭕️The entry of hundreds of trucks of humanitarian, relief, medical and fuel aid into all areas of the #Gaza Strip, without exception, in the north and south.

⭕️The release of 50 women and children of Israeli detainees, all under the age of 19 years, in exchange for the release of 150 women and children of Palestinian captives from Israeli prisons under the age of 19 years, depending on seniority.

⭕️Stopping all Israeli air traffic in the south for four days.

⭕️ Stopping all Israeli air traffic in the North for 6 hours a day, from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM.

⭕️During the ceasefire period, the Israelis should be committed not to attack or arrest any Palestinian across the Gaza Strip.

⭕️ Ensuring freedom of movement of Palestinians (from north to south) along Salah El-Din Street.

Israel’s war on Gaza has killed thousands of children and made life difficult for newborns.
The infants are experiencing bombings and shellings long before they can even walk.

Al Jazeera’s Ali Hashem reports about one child and Aya Jouda a young mother who made the treacherous journey south.This traumatic experience has lead to her being unable to breastfeed her child.

Israel does NOT adhere to so-called humanitarian truces: In January 2009, when Palestinians thought they could go get food, water, clothes, or flee to another area during a supposed humanitarian truce, Israel one day killed a youth with a precision drone strike and another day fired at least 14 snipers shots at Palestinian medics I was with.

These are only 2 examples, but Israel's violations of humanitarian truces and of ceasefires are the norm, not the exception.
