📰 Tehran Times | The unofficial figures have also put the number of voter turnout in the Friday run-off presidential election at about 50 percent in comparison to the first round on June 28 which was about 40 percent.

🗳 Reportedly, out of 60 million eligible voters in Iran, over 30 million participated in the Friday election.

🗳 Immediately after the voting process ended in the run-off presidential election in #Iran on Friday night, the work to count the ballots started in polling stations across the country.

🗳 The voting started at 8 am local time on Friday morning and extended three times, lasting until 12 pm at midnight.

🚨 #Update | Out of over 30,530,157 votes, Masoud Pezeshkian secured 16,384,403 votes, Saeed Jalili got 13,538,179.

☑️ Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, the 🇮🇷 president-elect, met with the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khamenei on Saturday July 6, 2024.

☑️ During the meeting, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution congratulated Dr. Pezeshkian on his success in winning the majority vote and expressed satisfaction with the increasing participation of the people in the second round of elections. Imam Khamenei expressed hope that Dr. Pezeshkian would take steps towards progress and prosperity using the capacities of the people and other abundant capacities in the country.
