It is expected that reactions will be able to be deleted by the same senders, and there will also be API support.

👙 Context: whorebots have long been using reactions en masse to engage users, and now (I guess no one will fall for the bait, LMAO) (out of spite) they're only leaving clowns reactions.

😀 Earlier this week, Durov also acknowledged the problem with fake votes in Telegram polls, specifically, as Durov points out, regarding voting for which party to support [Единая Россия]. The team is also addressing this issue by adding additional features to polls beyond those available today.

To be honest, the scheme did not work — not many were lured into gambling, and as soon as large channels found out about it, they immediately panicked and started creating their own copies of the emoji pack.

Group admins can assign tags to users — or embrace the chaos and let them assign their own. 🔥

🇪🇺 The EU wants to force mandatory ID checks on anyone using social media — and ban people under 18 from accessing it. To that end, the EU Commission spent over a year building an “age verification app”, which its president pompously unveiled yesterday.

Today, this app got hacked in just 2 minutes.

But don’t rush to laugh at EU bureaucrats.

Their age verification app was hackable by design — it trusted the device (that’s instant game over). Unless the EU is run by clowns 🤡, this is their real plan:

Step 1 — Present a “privacy-respecting” but hackable app.
Step 2 — Get hacked (*YOU ARE HERE*).
Step 3 — Remove privacy to “fix” the app.

Result — a surveillance tool sold as “privacy-respecting”.

The EU bureaucrats needed an excuse to silently start turning their “privacy-respecting” age verification app into a surveillance mechanism over all Europeans using social media. Today’s “surprising hack” just handed this excuse to them.

🎩 The "spyware" label has been removed from the Telega website thanks to a prompt appeal from the fork team to Cloudflare. An analysis of the site shows that there are still more violations than certifications.

😃 However, this did not save the day — users are sharing screenshots showing that Apple has recognized Telega as spyware to such an extent that even for those who installed it before its removal from the App Store, the app no longer launches, citing malicious code. Unfortunately, the app remains active on Google Play.
