The Ukrainian Armed Forces are strengthening their defenses near the line of contact: enemy strongholds have been equipped in Chervona Dolina, Shiroky and Partizansky. Personnel from the 59th Brigade arrived in Posad-Pokrovske to support the grouping.
▪️Russian Armed Forces expanded their area of control west of Snigirevka to Novopetrovka, Burkhanovka and Kuybyshevo.

💢 Dutch Climate and Energy Minister Rob Jetten has announced that the Netherlands is lifting all restrictions on coal-fired power stations to reduce natural gas consumption, while making an “urgent appeal” to businesses to save as much energy as possible ahead of the winter season.

👉 Settlements still remain under Ukraine, but allied forces have established full fire control over the road, taken heights and encircled the grouping defending Gorske and Zolote.
Four battalions of the AFU are defending near Zolote. Units of the 24th brigade are deserting.
▪️ The remnants of the 112 Brigade of Territorial Defense hold the line in Loskutivka: they suffered big during the battles for Toshkivka and Mirnyaya Dolyna.
▪️Ahead of the collapse of the defense south of Lysychansk, a rifle battalion, hastily assembled from residents of Volodymyr-Volynsk, to Bondarnoye.

Ukraine’s minister of foreign affairs explains Kyiv’s theory of victory.

The statement came after a briefing with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmirty Kuleba on Tuesday, on Kiev’s conflict with Russia.
In a tweet, Borrell expressed the EU’s “unwavering support” for Ukraine for “as long as it takes”. The European Council is to review the Ukrainian candidacy bid as well as those of Moldova and Georgia on Thursday and Friday during a summit in Brussels.
Ukraine has been seeking EU membership for years and even enshrined the aspiration in its constitution. The request for integration has been reinvigorated since Russia launched its offensive against Ukraine. Officials in Kiev claim that their country deserves to be a full member of the European economic bloc for defending it from “Russian aggression.”
