In "undemocratic" Russia, presidential elections have been held during the special military operation, and now parliamentary elections are also taking place.

Meanwhile, in "democratic" Ukraine, there are no elections... none at all.

💢 Russia says it has received no US signal that Washington is prepared to conclude business deals with Moscow before a settlement on Ukraine, pushing back on a NYT report that the White House is considering exactly that.

Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov told RIA Novosti that Moscow continues to hear the opposite sequence from Washington: first reach an agreement on Ukraine, “and everything else later.” He said the same applies to economic projects.

💢 The United States will help reform and transform Armenia’s armed forces through advisory support, experience-sharing and other defense programs, US Deputy Assistant Secretary of War Andrew Loomis said after talks in Yerevan.

The consultations also covered military education, NCO training and joint exercises. Armenia remains formally in the Russia-led CSTO despite freezing participation, while Russia’s 102nd Military Base remains in Gyumri.

💢MS NOW is the rebrand for MS NBC. Originally the MS stood for Microsoft (lolz) but psychologically when we see 'MS' we think 'Miss'.

Then they added 'NOW', replacing NBC. (NOW stands for News, Opinion, World - MS now stands for 'My Source [for]'. So it's a clumsy and patronizing, idiocracy level backronym - My Source for News, Opinion, and the World - MS NOW.

But how it hits anyone is the real intent. MS NOW - NOW is the moment for women! - Then look at their logo. I see that equal sign, not sure what else is going on.

MS NOW — Remember Ms Magazine? Early feminist rag ... and NOW - that's National Organization of Women.

Now ask your favourite LLM if MS NBC is geared towards liberal women, and have fun arguing with it until it finally admits you're right based upon actual demographic data (LLM will first try to say 'there is no documented evidence that the directors of that channel are gearing themselves to appeal to women from internal emails, memos, official statements, or press releases'. But then look at the demographic part, and it will relent.

This is a channel that refers to Lindsey Clancy as 'Lindsey' and framed the case as 'Justice for Lindsey'. Huh? Yes, because she was the victim.
