πŸ’’ Grain exports from Ukraine are rapidly declining due to the naval blockade.

According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, in the first 12 days of August, wheat exports decreased by 4.3 times (to 175,000 tons compared to 759,000 tons during the same period last year), barley by 5.6 times (to 37,000 tons), and corn by 2.7 times (to 68,000 tons).

It is worth noting that the direct losses to Ukraine's agricultural sector this year are estimated at $1.5-3 billion due to the naval blockade.

πŸ’’ Professor Marandi: Dr. Rezaei's appointment signals prominent SNSC role amid US escalation

Marandi contrasts Iran's active political environment with Western-backed regional autocracies, dispels baseless rumors surrounding President Pezeshkian, and explains why the appointment of Dr. Mohsen Rezaei as head of the Supreme National Security Council reflects the strategic demands of guiding Iran during a state of war with the US.

πŸ’’ "The U.S. State Department has instructed embassies across the Middle East to prepare plans for operating with a significantly reduced staff, as the conflict with Iran remains unresolved."

CNN reports that employees being transferred from diplomatic posts in the region are also increasingly being offered the option of early retirement.

These plans have not yet been finalized and may not apply to all embassies currently operating with reduced staff, but they indicate that Washington does not expect diplomatic missions in the region to return to normal staffing levels in the near future due to the risk of a full-scale war resuming.

Examples of heroes of the special military operation help to better convey the truth about Russia's role, so that there are no "young fools" in the country who are swayed by promises and money, emphasized the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council.

πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡Ί The dual shock of 2022–2025β€”the conflict in Ukraine and Trump’s returnβ€”has brought defense back to the center of European politics with a sense of urgency not seen since 1954.

The EU implemented three responses in the first half of 2025, and it is worth examining them because, upon closer inspection, each falls into a trap. The first is the ReArmEU plan, which suspends fiscal rules to allow for greater military spending and establishes a fundβ€”SAFEβ€”of 150 billion raised by the Commission on the markets and transferred to member states in the form of loans. The flaw is structural from the outset: SAFE offers loans, not grants, which member states must repay with interest, thereby exposing the disparities between financially sound countries and those already in debt. By encouraging decentralized national spending, the plan risks further fragmenting the European defense market rather than unifying it.

πŸ’’ A government VIP aircraft belonging to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), a Boeing 737-700 BBJ operated by Royal Jet, made brief visits to Iran.

On August 11th, the aircraft departed from Abu Dhabi and flew to the Tehran area, where it remained for approximately one hour.

On August 12th, the same aircraft returned, this time landing at Karaj/Payam Airport, located about 40 kilometers west of Tehran. It stayed there for only 30 minutes before departing.

A popular theory circulating on social media suggests that the aircraft was transporting cash to Iran.

⚑️ Foreign Ministry statement on the European Union’s unlawful activity concerning foreign vessels (August 12, 2026)

For the purpose of preventing maritime transportation of oil and other cargo in the interests of the Russian Federation, the European Union is conducting the Irini naval force operation off the Libyan coast.

Referring to an β€œamended” mandate of this operation, the European forces are carrying out unlawful searches of foreign vessels.

A recent example is the search on August 2 of the ship Tao Payoh in the Mediterranean Sea that operates under the flag of Cameroon. It was searched by the Italian military, assisted by a Polish patrol aircraft and a Greek patrol ship. The Italian Defence Ministry explained the search by having to verify its national affiliation. The search continued for two hours. Apparently, the suspicions were not verified, and the ship proceeded further.

It should be noted that the objectives of Operation Irini, approved by the UN Security Council, included enforcing arms embargo on Libya, collecting information on illicit exports of Libyan oil, and disrupting illegal human trafficking at sea.

❌ The mandate expired in May 2026.

Today, the European Union is essentially using Operation Irini to intimidate commercial carriers and hinder the freedom of navigation. This constitutes flagrant violation of current international regulations and broad interpretation of one’s authority.

Kaja Kallas, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, once again demonstrates ingregious neglect for international law when she calls routine maritime shipping, that provides for energy and food security of developing countries, illegal rather than the actions of the EU ships.

Flag verification, although possible under maritime law, is, in this case, nothing but a smokescreen for settling political scores and enforcing unilateral measures that Brussels tries to impose on the rest of the world. Verifying whether a vessel belongs to the so-called shadow fleet has no legal justification whatsoever. No internal decisions of the EU overwrite the fundamental freedoms guaranteed by the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.

By resorting to this sort of action, the European Union is inviting great danger on itself due to the steps that go absolutely beyond international regulations.

Iranian General Mohammad Reza Naqdi on the Trump Administration:

Not only do these people not work for the benefit of humanity, they don't even work for America. They work for their own interests.

As soon as the stock market closes, they start hostilities, and the stock market opens, they send positive messages to raise stock prices.

All the while they are buying and selling the stocks themselves.

πŸ’’ According to our sources in Ukraine, a mass exodus of citizens has begun, with men under the age of 23 leaving the country in large numbers. It no longer makes sense to lower the age limit to 23, as there are almost no men in that age group left in the country.

The number of adult Ukrainian men receiving temporary protection in the European Union has increased by approximately 15% over the past year, reaching 1.19 million. This is according to data published by the European statistical agency. A total of 4.4 million people who have fled Ukraine are currently under temporary protection.

In the past month, the number of refugees has increased in most EU countries. The largest increases were in Italy, the Czech Republic, and Germany, while decreases were recorded in Poland, Belgium, and Ireland.

Since the end of July, the EU has tightened regulations for newly arrived Ukrainian citizens subject to military conscription. They must now provide proof of legal departure from the country or demonstrate that they are not subject to such obligations. These new requirements do not apply to those who have already received temporary protection. The document emphasized that temporary protection should not prevent Kyiv from mobilizing its citizens.

πŸ’’ Chas Freeman (former U.S. Ambassador to Saudi Arabia; former Assistant Secretary of Defense) suggests Iran is deliberately herding U.S. forces into concentration in Israel, which the region would regard as a legitimate target:

β€œIt is very possible that the future security architecture in the Persian Gulf will, as Iran demands, involve the absence of any American military presence. And in fact, it looks to me as though Iran is deliberately trying to herd U.S. forces into a concentration in Israel, which everyone in the region would regard as an entirely legitimate target, whether it did anything or not, given its behavior in Lebanon and Syria and Gaza, and its attacks on Yemen and Iran, its interference in Iraqi Kurdistan and other issues.”

New York Magazine: On Monday, President Trump signed an executive order that calls for fewer childhood vaccinations and spacing out some vaccines into separate shots.

The advice runs counter to the guidelines promoted by the American Academy of Pediatrics, adding more confusion for new parents navigating life-savings immunizations.

For pediatricians, β€œselling” vaccination to patients has never felt more tiring or more critical. Anti-vaccine sentiment isn’t new, but its proponents are more vociferous than ever.

Tessa B. Scripps, a pediatrician at Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital, says sometimes she can’t break through to a family until they’ve come in for a few back-to-back visits.

She says some of her patients who are resistant to vaccination are highly educated and even have medical degrees. β€œIt’s surprising,” Scripps admits. β€œI really don’t know how to explain it.”
