💢 Biden’s Private Ukraine Deadline
It turns out that Washington’s foreign policy set has grown increasingly frustrated with the Biden administration’s Ukraine policy. What is it, exactly? On one hand, the administration has been consistent in its line on Ukraine: Ukraine must win, nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine, this must not turn into World War III, and we must defend and strengthen the rules-based (and American-designed) international order.
But what does any of that really mean? What does winning in Ukraine even look like? Do we agree with Ukraine that it means restoring its 1991 borders? If we advocate for “nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine,” then what did it mean when Antony Blinken—just “Tony” to the community—told a group of experts that Crimea was Putin’s red line, and therefore America’s as well? Does our concept of victory actually diverge from the Ukrainians’ vision? And what does “as long as it takes” mean in the context of providing Ukraine with more sensitive weapons systems, like ATACMS, or dwindling weapons stocks in the U.S. and Europe? How “all in” are we? “If they have a strategy, it hasn’t been shared,” one expert on these regular briefing calls with administration officials complained.

💢 The murder of Vladlen Tatarsky in the center of St. Petersburg is not just a spit in the face of the Russian special services and the authorities of our president's hometown. This podzhopnik with a running start, executed brazenly and boldly. A terrorist attack in the country's second largest city. Another proof that there is no more safe rear.
We are at war with an enemy who is not shy in choosing means, does not disdain ISIS manuals. They have a war, and we have a military special operation. The wedge must be knocked out with a wedge. I will be very disappointed in the power apparatus of the state if something deadly and mysterious does not happen in the near future, for example, with the head of the GUR Budanov. Or the long-promised strikes on decision-making centers will not begin.
There are no more red lines. "Gestures of good will" only spur the excitement of our enemies. They perceive any concession as weakness. Stop being patient already. It's time to bare your teeth and do something terrible. Stop being gentlemen and hanging out with an enemy who wants to destroy us. The enemy understands only force. Otherwise, the next bomb may explode in front of the Kremlin.
Vladlen - eternal memory. They could not get him at the front, they vilely killed in the rear.

“This is how the history of real Russian saints is created. Irrelevant. Not fictitious. Not sucked from the finger. Beating from the heart. If it is not holiness, then there is no holiness. Daria Dugina Avenue. Vladlen Tatarsky Square. Zhogi, Motorola streets, dozens of other streets, avenues and squares. Such will be the toponymy of Kiev. But for now - only an eternal memory." –

💢 Musk mocked The New York Times as a “propaganda” media outlet on Sunday morning as he revoked the publication’s Blue Check, tweeting that “the real tragedy of [The New York Times] is that their propaganda isn’t even interesting.”

“They would have far more real followers if they only posted their top articles,” Musk tweeted. “Same applies to all publications.”

The images of the aftermath of the terrorist attack depict St. Petersburg as a war zone. If the SMO in the Ukraine would have been already completely it would have been less painful, it's a difficult decision but there must be serious repercussions for the Kiev regime so they think twice before doing it again... Not just tit-for-tat.

💢 Thoughts on the practical response from the Russians on the street bombing in St Petersberg that killed a popular military blogger
On the whole, Russia does not respond and cannot be provoked as a rule, and moreover, has made commitments to Europe either implicitly or explicitly.
How Russia responds in some way relates to how they want the relationship with Europe to be after the SMO is over.
There are a number of ways of thinking about this though, and in principle the winner of this war will be able to set terms much more than the loser.
And so, winning first, then negotiations after the war.
At the same time, there is a chance that the public in Russia is losing confidence about their own safety or the success of the operation.
One negative side effect of the censorship regime in Russia is the inability to gauge public sentiments, even to the extent that the censorship skews the public away from organic opposition as it spreads through media tropes. But that is not the only way that opposition spreads.
Supporters can go to become opponents based upon whether the overall effort appears to be winning or losing.
Overall, I suspect no real change in tact from Russia.
However, we may expect already planned actions by Russia in the SMO to be couched by Russian pro-state bloggers and telegram to spin those pre-planned actions as a 'response' to the terrorism.
Let's see how it plays out

How to make EU COVID Special Committee Sweat. Ask simple questions like "How Many Deaths Per Doses Administered" and "How do you know that 20 million lives were saved?" What is the basis of that statistic and how was it found.... Nice to see someone is not afraid to challenge the narrative 👏
