Soldiers of Ukraine’s ‘Thor’ special operations group are using satellite data provided by the CIA to choose targets when conducting drone strikes against Russian forces, the unit’s commander told The Times.

The 27-man group, which is formally a police special operations unit, functions independently from the Ukrainian army and works in close collaboration with the country's military intelligence, the GUR, which provides them with ammunition and intel. According to The Times, the unit has complete license to select its missions, where it barracks and when it fights.

💢China has stated that it has nothing to report about a possible conversation between Xi Jinping and Zelensky

The adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Mikhail Podolyak earlier spoke about the difficulties in organizing this conversation.

The Chinese authorities have not yet been able to provide any information about a possible telephone conversation between Chinese President Xi Jinping and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky. This was stated on Friday by the official representative of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Mao Ning.

"On the Ukrainian problem, the Chinese side maintains contacts with all [interested] parties," she said at a briefing, answering a journalist's question. According to the diplomat, Beijing "cannot yet provide any information" regarding a possible conversation between Xi Jinping and Zelensky.

💢 After Vucic met and refused to sign anything about anything - refusing to sign any agreement recognizing Kosovo, and refusing to sign an addendum on implementation and timelines in the event that there would be an agreement (there is not), here is what the lying liar of the hour Miroslav Lajcak had to say about it.

"After several hours of negotiations, the parties managed to agree on 12 of the 18 points, but it was impossible to bridge the differences on the remaining six," he said. "We tried in many, many ways to bridge these differences, but it was clear that we were not going to succeed. And that's why we presented a new annex that was more general."

In the end, they agreed that the document would be formalized through Borrell's statement. This means that it is binding, official, and formal, "and all speculations about whether or not it is valid and binding are meaningless," Lajcak said.
