💢 New Resistance forecast on Belarus incursion into Ukraine picking up steam:

Russia is trying to involve Belarus in the war against Ukraine, said Vadim Skibitsky, a spokesman for the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, after it became known that Minsk had officially accused Kyiv of preparing an attack on Belarus.

He said that intelligence sees actions in this direction.

"Meetings between Putin and Lukashenko are constantly held, where this issue is discussed, and Putin is trying to persuade Lukashenko to this decision," he said.

According to Skibitsky, Lukashenka categorically does not want Belarus to enter the war: "He is "ready to give everything he has, let the Russian Federation use it, but so that the Belarusian Armed Forces do not directly enter the war."

Now, six battalions are concentrated near the Ukrainian border from Belarus: mechanized and airborne. According to the GUR, the decision to use them will depend on events at the front.
