The tanker "KAZIMAH III" is carrying a cargo of two million barrels of crude oil. No black oil spill is observed, but merely a thin, shiny layer resulting from surface residues.

Prosecutors say Zhang and an associate traveled from Las Vegas to Seattle in September 2025, waited outside the family’s home in a rented SUV and appeared to photograph them.
The FBI alleges Chinese officials directed Zhang to gather information that could provide Beijing leverage over Lai in a potential conflict.
Prosecutors said she used “tradecraft to avoid detection.” Zhang is due in federal court in Los Angeles on Monday.
