Halo — an alarm that reaches your own people.
Most panic buttons call a dispatch centre. Halo calls the people you chose: family, neighbours, colleagues. Their phones light up red with sound, even when locked, and show them where you are.
Three ways to raise it: a spoken phrase, a crash detected by the sensor, or the volume buttons.
No registration — no account, no phone number, no email. The app speaks eight languages.

What actually happens when the alarm goes off
You say the phrase. In the same second the app sends the alarm to your group and starts recording sound from the scene.
On the phones of everyone in that group a red screen opens with a siren — through a locked screen, through silent mode. They see your name, your point on the map, and two buttons: open the route or copy the coordinates.
Someone — from the family, the neighbours or the mutual-aid group — will see the signal and come to help.

Why not the emergency services?
An automatic alarm is not always the right call, and the decision to call the emergency services should be made by a person. Your close ones will see the signal and decide what help is needed.

A child's location — a single request
Halo does not track a child around the clock and does not drain the battery. The parent asks, the child's phone answers. The child is not distracted, the parents are at ease.

When the phone itself understands that help is needed
Crash detection watches the accelerometer. When it triggers, the app gives fifteen seconds to cancel — a phone that was simply dropped should not wake the whole family.
No answer, and the alarm goes out on its own: coordinates on the map, sound from the car. The people close to you find out from the app, even if the person is unconscious.
