We are currently facing issues with the ranking systems due to large portion of levels and XP were miscalculated during optimisations, the fact is that we wanted to distribute Experience (or known as XP) points to users evenly based on their activity in chats.

We seriously apologise for this inconvenience, we had no other choices of fixing this issue since there are more than thousands of users are ranking up instantaneously, and it may never be easy to correct their calculations of XPs at this conditions. We have received reports recently that some members of Natalie are in possession of having Global Ban powers, We would like to remind that no members of Natalie chatrooms do have such powers entrusted, therefore, the admins of Natalie Support can access the Global Ban rights.

Hence, we also have an Alliance System which behaves similarly to the Global Ban, Nevertheless, the bans are applied only to the chats that are connected via Alliance ID. Alliance Admins and Natalie admins do not share equal permission. If you have been found in threatening members and claiming to be in possession of Global Ban, the consequences of punishment will ever be severe. We do not tolerate any form of blackmailing or threatening other members of Natalie chatrooms.

Kindly do keep in mind, this is merely reminder to all Natalie users. If you've been mislead by someone, do not hesitate to report the user to Natalie Support.

Natalie is currently offline due to network connections issues, We will do our best bring her back online.

EDIT: all current database are on main server, however we are running the bot on the test environment, so there will not be any data for now. we will update on next post once we get the system completely restored..

EDIT 1; we have contacted our host provider as well are in touch with Telegram to resolve this issue as soon as possible.. since this is a network related issue, it’s beyond our control to resolve the case. again we apologise for any inconvenience caused..

EDIT 2: partial restoration, we have moved the instance back to main servers, all datas are intact, we will observe for possible issues again.

EDIT 3: bot is stable. we observed for 1 hour, kindly let us know if there’s any errors caused or non-responsive commands. we noticed some commands can be non-responsive. do let us know.

last few weeks we noticed bot was having frequent downtimes and it is apparent not related to our server rather it’s a feature issue, we are not able to find the cause of this downtime, so over weeks we will debug this issue on production by disabling-enabling certain features, therefore some of the features may or may not work until we are certain of the issue in the code.

We apologise for the inconvenience that had caused.

edit: we found that filters are causing and will continue monitoring it

edit 2: so far no crashes after we added some fixes to filters, we will still continue monitoring until next days and ensure all functions are working in order.

edit 3: she has survived another 24 hours since adding fix on filters (48 hours ago) and another on blacklists (in last 24 hours ago), in case if Natalie survives another 72 hours, we will enable all the features that was previous disabled due to frequent crashes.

edit 4: it has been over 72 hours and so far bot is online without crashes.

edit 5: it was another failure, we are doing another update on codes to adjust the timers.

edit 6: we found an alternative solution to maintain 99% uptime despite unsolvable conditions at this moment, bot will continue to work at its best.

We had changed the mechanism to handle new updates for every response from groups, which makes Natalie handle new messages and data more conveniently, given the fact that Natalie grew considerably larger, the previous method of handling incoming and outgoing calls was pressurising on servers and thus had created unwanted high spikes on usages during peak hours, this issue should be solved to ensure full uptime and guaranteed service for every group for free.

henceforth, we will be working on fixing bugs and bringing new features in future updates. We thank you for sticking with us during a difficult period. we appreciate your patience and support :)

Hello Users,

Yes I'm aware that the development of Natalie has been stalled for quite while. The fact that I have been heavily involved in the development of another project; However I assure you that Natalie is now actively being developed and I'm working on rewriting the bot again under new framework. With plans of reintroducing features such as Connect commands. will be part of road map.

I couldn't provide any ETA of release time, Therefore, I'll make sure to complete the rewriting as soon as possible.
