Reporting to the Sustainability Manager, the
successful candidate will have a proven track
record in successfully managing relationships
with host communities through the development
and implementation of stakeholder engagement
strategies, and the execution of external
community upliftment programmes and public
relations activities in and near Karibib and
Omaruru.
Minimum requirements:
• National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in
Public Relations, Development Studies, Public
Administration or equivalent
• 3+ years’ experience in a community outreach
or development environment
• Good communication skills in English,
Afrikaans and, ideally, additional local
languages
• Willingness to travel within Namibia
• Developing, implementing and maintaining
community engagement plans and
communication mechanisms
• Facilitating conflict resolution and feedback,
including management of grievance
mechanism
