Graduation day🎓. It’s a remarkable milestone to reach. Despite facing unimaginable challenges, my determination to pursue my studies never wavered. Balancing activism work and full-time studies hasn’t been easy, but it has been worth every effort.

Today is a day to celebrate my accomplishments and remember my beloved mother and all the women of my village who made me strong, determined, and resilient.

I am grateful to all those who supported me on this journey especially my best friend and the love of my life @AbidShamdeen ❤️.

To mark the International Day for the Elimination of Sexual Violence in Conflict, I joined Vice President Harris @VP , my fellow survivors, and experts to call for better accountability mechanisms and survivor-centered approaches.

The situation in Aleppo is extremely alarming -we are receiving urgent appeals from Yazidis, Christians, and Kurds who fear imminent threats from armed groups and militias aligned with the government in Damascus.

This crisis cannot be resolved through violence, tanks, or the accumulation of weapons. Protecting civilians must remain the highest priority. The current situation requires urgent international intervention to prevent a humanitarian catastrophe.

‏إن الوضع في حلب مقلق للغاية-حيث نتلقى مناشدات عاجلة من الإيزيديين والمسيحيين والكرد، الذين يخشون تهديدات وشيكة من جماعات مسلحة وميليشيات موالية للحكومة في دمشق.

‏إن هذه الأزمة لا يمكن حلها عبر العنف أو الدبابات أو تكديس السلاح، بل يجب أن تظل حماية المدنيين هي الأولوية القصوى. إن الموقف الراهن يتطلب تدخلاً دولياً عاجلاً لمنع وقوع كارثة إنسانية.

نتقدم باحر التعازي وصادق المواساة الى عائلته الكريمة والى عموم ابناء الشعب الايزيدي بهذا المصاب الجلل.

لقد فقد المجتمع الايزيدي برحيله عالما جليلا ومرجعا دينيا حكيما، كرس حياته لخدمة الدين ونشر العلم والوعي وارشاد الناس، والحفاظ على القيم الروحية والتراث الديني الايزيدي.
