Hi friends, DBS Sail by the Bay is hosting a crew training session in April, and passing this course allows you to become a working crew on board of their SM40s.

They sail wednesdays to sundays but they’re looking for people who can work on weekdays (2.30pm-7pm) more!

Requirements to sign up for their crew training session is to have a qualified Basic Sailing Course certification and sailing experience is preferred…

If you’re interested and can work on weekdays, please let me know @chugcup :)

Hello Seafarers! ⛡️

NUS Seafarers is partnering with Maritime Port Authority and Singapore Heritage Board to bring in Vega, a 130 year old wooden cargo ship that conducts heritage missions in the region. πŸ—Ί

Volunteering gives you a chance to work directly with Shane and Meggi, who are at the front of the work that Vega does. They have years of experience at sea and with humanitarian organisations, and they are more than happy to share about those experiences! 😊

Other benefits for NUS Students includes priority access to our events and potential SEP points for your courses! πŸ“ˆ
