People ask me often which questions they should ask a prospective spouse.

AlhamduliLlah I have been coaching marriages for almost a decade, and based on this experience, I created a list of over 100 questions that you can ask a potential spouse.

You don't have to ask ALL of them, but it gives you an idea of things to think about when talking to someone.

Wondering how much it costs? Nothing. Access it on our website for FREE.

But asking the right questions is only PART of the bigger picture when you’re searching for a spouse.

Out of every analogy that I have ever heard, undoubtedly, the Qur’an gives the most accurate description of what a loving marriage should look like. Allah Most High beautifully compares spouses as garments for each other.

A garment is worn for many reasons. It protects the body from the heat and cold. It covers a person’s blemishes and faults. It adorns the person with its unique beauty. It holds tightly against the skin for extra support, and it fits in the most perfect of ways.

Similarly is a spouse to a spouse.

A spouse protects you from sinful lusts by fulfilling your needs of love.

A spouse covers your weaknesses by forgiving and overlooking.

A spouse adorns your life by decorating it with their beautiful Islamic character.

A spouse is a source of support, security, warmth, and comfort through the ups and downs experienced in this world.

Thus, when spouses are garments for each other, they will feel bare and exposed without the other person by their side.

But a garment only stays in good condition for as long as you take care of it. Follow these tips to be a garment for your spouse.
