My biggest issue with AI art is that it's hollow. It lacks a variety of distinct styles even with different programs. That's because people only gave it a prompt rather than putting in the time, the focus, and the discipline it takes to actually paint something by hand. I want to see the brush strokes, the movement, the perspective of the artist, even the mistakes...

To me, even the most beautiful AI art looks empty and devoid of any real creative spark. I'm not sure I would even consider it art. I've played around with it, and it can be fun, but it's still just a shortcut. Sometimes a shortcut isn't always the best way forward.

I'd much rather see people exercise their imaginations on their own and then developing a craft to translate what they envision. There is more life in something that is created that way.
This post pretty much saves me from having to write an article against AI ''art'.(Though I still might)

A commenter uses Francisco Goya's Saturn eating his children as an example of men creating disturbing imagery through art. This is to miss the point, Goya's painting, while gruesome, encompasses Greek and Roman mythology, it hints at the ravages of war in Spain and was also the late (and private) work of an old man contemplating his own mortality.

In other words, it is emphatically human! it is an expression of a consciousness.

An equally gruesome, or for that matter pleasant, AI graphic represents nothing whatsoever, you're staring into the void.

Or, at best, a pretty picture representing nothing.
Microsoft finally opened the portal that allows the demons to enter our reality.
What this also tells you is that it's pretty obvious gay marriage was a top-down agenda and nothing whatsoever to do with responding to ''rights'' or the wishes of the general public.

When I see pubs like this now I think of Jonathan Bowden delivering speech on metaphysics and Heidegger to steel workers and hard lads.

White privilege theory will exist as long as their careers depend on it existing, the fact that it doesn’t match reality hardly seems to matter at all.

''Just as British as the rest of us'' until they aren't.
If I’m honest about it the feeling of belonging to a conquered people has become more acute today.

I realise the policies won’t change and some would even question how “white” Boris Johnson was, but there’s no dressing up the fact we are now openly and obviously ruled by foreigners, it is different, it does matter.

Morgoth is 100% right here.

"It is the conquered who speak in whispers lest they break the speech codes and values system of their masters, it is the conquered whose females are raped and whose laws are stacked against them, and it is the conquered who witness their history rewritten and culture trashed. It is the conquered who are ruled by foreigners with a religion they don’t understand and it is the conquered who ‘‘hope for the best’’ when they see gangs of racially different men on the streets at night."

Evict your British tenants, we're waiting to pay you higher rent on long-term contracts for aliens who have illegally entered Britain.

That people can openly have THIS big a conflict of interest and be in such a seat of power shows you just how fallen we are.
The millennial women from House of the Dragon look more normal and relatable when they're in the fantasy show than when they're in our real world.
