Today, as you honour your hero vets, other countries bow in prayer.
We pray God has gathered them all, for he was also there.

We pray for the generations of families, who lost a loving member.
We pray they may somehow feel, how deeply we also remember.

We thank them all for fighting in wars, they likely didn’t understand.
They left their precious footprints across many a foreign land.
