For more than 150 years, scientists have been trying to solve the mystery of a controversial cuneiform clay tablet that indicates the so-called Köfel impact event was observed in ancient times. The circular molded stone tablet was recovered from King Ashurbanipal’s underground library in Nineveh, Iraq, dating back to 650 BC, in the late 19th century. Long thought to be an Assyrian tablet, computer analysis compared it to the sky above Mesopotamia in 3300 BC and proved it to be of much older Sumerian origin. The tablet is an astrolabe, the earliest known astronomical instrument. It consists of a segmented, disc-shaped star map with marked units of angle measurement inscribed around the edge. Part ²

OVER 6,000 YEARS AGO, A MYSTERIOUS CIVILIZATION POSSESSED DETAILED MAPS OF OUR HEAVENS. THE SUMERIANS CREATED THESE DRAWINGS USING CLAY. THEY ACCURATELY DEPICTED THE ORBITS AND POSITIONS OF THE PLANETS.

Interestingly, some of their paintings also portray strange images of giant beings. The Sumerians considered these to be deities. Intriguingly, some drawings of these gods even feature symbols resembling sequences of human DNA. Furthermore, they had symbols related to medicine that closely resemble modern medical symbols. To this day, we still cannot understand how, thousands of years ago, humanity's oldest civilization possessed such a profound knowledge of astronomy. This raises the question of whether this ancient civilization was not simply lagging behind, but rather had progressed far beyond our current understanding.
