The Modus: Operandi
Smithsonian agents confiscated the bones "for study," and they were never seen again.
The Reason: If they admit that a race of giants existed, Darwin’s Theory of Evolution (the pillar of the educational system) collapses. Giants do not fit into the linear progression from ape to man; they suggest a different genetics or a degradation from a previous, more powerful species.
