Alignment was never supposed to feel easy.

"I'm testing zero time blocking," one of my clients told me.

"No schedule, I just flow with my energy. It feels more aligned."

Her content had gone quiet for weeks.

I let that sit, then asked the real question. "Are you avoiding structure, or are you avoiding the work?"

She went quiet on the other end too. Then she admitted it: comfort had quietly become her definition of aligned, and it was costing her the exact thing she said she wanted.

Alignment doesn't mean you feel good all the time.

You can be aligned and bored. You can be aligned and pissed off, doing the unglamorous work nobody wants to film.

It just means you know why you're doing it.

Tie your effort to how you feel and you'll only show up on the good days.

Most days aren't good days.

Comfort changes by the hour, but your reason doesn't.

I've had this conversation inside more than 150 private client relationships, and it's almost always the same block wearing a nicer word. "I'm flowing with my energy" usually just means "I stopped," dressed up so it doesn't sting.

Alignment is NOT about doing what's comfortable, but understanding WHY you're doing it.

So when the work "doesn't feel aligned," ask one thing first: "Do I still know why I'm doing this?"

If yes, the discomfort isn't a stop sign. It's the price of the thing you already chose.

I’m trying to kill 90% of my courses and trainings by the end of 2026.

So far, I’ve shortened 60-minute lessons to 5 to 10 minutes, turned courses into AI Implementation Toolkits, and built virtual coaches that clients can speak to 24/7.

But after automating more of the strategies, scripts and systems...

I’ve become even more convinced about the ONE thing AI cannot replace.

Full update here 👇

P.S. Want me to build your ENTIRE content ideation, creation and automation system for you?

Before I roll this out properly, I want to personally help a few people install it and get more views, engagement, leads and buyers than before.

If you’re open to giving honest feedback, and a testimonial only after you get results, reply “custom” and I’ll send you the details.
The fastest way to stand out isn't expertise.

I'll say something I actually believe, and a few people in my industry won't like it: your expertise is not what makes you stand out anymore, and it probably never was.

The other week on an Inner Circle call, I told the room the same thing.

Everyone in your space is teaching the same material now, polished by the same AI tools. Read five posts in your niche back to back and they blur into one.

So I gave the room my own example.

The thing I disagree with is treating your business and personal life as two separate projects, when they're really one integrated life.

I've said it enough times that people know it's mine, and that's not a marketing angle, it's just what I believe.

Your real opinion, the thing you'd argue about over dinner, isn't in anyone else's content library. It can't be copied, because it isn't information, it's you.

The smoother everything sounds, the more people trust the one willing to take a side.

I run my business on close to 20 hours a week, mostly because I picked positioning over more content.

A practical way to stand out is to get clear on what you actually disagree with in your industry.

Open your last five posts and ask: could a competitor have written them word for word? If yes, that's the gap.

Find the one belief you hold that most people in your space quietly don't, and say that next.

Some fires in your business should keep burning.

One of my clients was spending her weeks re-recording her team's training videos.

She'd film a session, decide it wasn't good enough, rewrite it into a guide, then start over. Meanwhile the actual problem, not enough people booking trials with her, sat completely untouched.

Her business is growing, with trials converting and referrals coming in. And she was pouring her best hours into the one corner that felt safest to fix.

On the call, I told her something she didn't expect. Sometimes you have to let some fires burn.

Not every broken thing in your business is the fire that matters.

Your whole business runs on one flow, from content to conversations to conversions to delivery, and only one of those is choking your growth right now.

The rest can stay a little broken while you fix that one.

Delivery felt urgent to her because it sat inside her control, nowhere near a "no."

Booking more trials meant more asks and more rejection. So she polished videos while the real fire quietly kept costing her the growth she wanted.

Some fires can burn a while, as long as you're putting out the one that's actually spreading.

So this week, list every "broken" thing pulling at you, and ask of each: is this stopping money from coming in, or just uncomfortable to look at? Fix the one that answers yes, and let the rest burn a little longer.

The lecturer gets compliments, the storyteller gets clients.

A few hours before his multi-day event kicked off, one of my clients walked me through his deck.

Slide after slide of theory, frameworks and clean definitions, all technically correct, without a single story anywhere in it.

I cut in about halfway through and told him straight.

These are lecturer slides, and lecturer slides don't sell, because nobody ever bought from proof of how smart you are.

The buying happens the moment someone sees themselves inside a story you told.

The teachers who actually changed you almost never opened with the theory. They showed you something first, a story or a moment that landed, then explained what was underneath it.

That gap is where the sale quietly dies.

Lead with teaching and your audience nods along, maybe comments "didn't know that," then closes the tab.

Understanding a concept and believing it's for you are two different things.

"That was so informative" feels great to hear.

It also means they walked away impressed instead of moved.

Impressed people ask for the slides. Moved people ask how to work with you.

When persuading others, 1 powerful story can beat hundreds of "intelligent" theories.

So before your next workshop, open your slides and count how many begin with a definition or a framework.

For each, find a real story or a before-and-after moment and move it in front of the teaching.

The lesson still lands, just after they already believe it's about them.

I stopped doing renewal calls, and renewals went up.

I haven't done a renewal call in about two years, and my renewal rate went up after I stopped.

For years I did what everyone said to.

Near the end of a client's term: book a call, have the awkward "so, are we continuing?" chat, throw in a discount to push them over the line.

It worked, but it was quietly costing me.

A renewal call turns your client back into a prospect. The moment you sit someone down to "re-decide," you reopen a decision they already made, and doubt walks straight back in, even for a client who loves the work.

The discount reads as begging. It lands as "please don't leave" instead of "thank you for staying," and trains people to hold out for the deal instead of valuing the relationship.

So I stopped having the conversation and built the answer into the price.

Year one sits at the full anchor. Year two drops to a lower loyalty rate on its own, like a membership that gets cheaper the longer you stay.

My clients don't wait to hear if I'll cut them a deal, because they know it's baked in. My renewal rate sits near 80% now, with zero renewal calls.

Build the discount into year two, so you never have to ask for the renewal at all.

So with your next client, set the year-two price before year one begins, so there's nothing to negotiate when the term ends.

*Not everyone will take your feedback & advice the way you intended. And that’s okay.*

I’ve been observing this for a few months, but a convo earlier today got me thinking.

Quick context:

A client sent me some updates.

Based on the words he was using, I recorded a direct 2-minute voice note cuz I genuinely felt it would help.

A day later, he shared that while he appreciated the value & intention behind it...

*The voice note felt unsolicited and disrespectful to him.*

I respected that he told me directly.

But it also reminded me of something important:

You can have the best intentions & still have your advice land differently from how you expected.

Personally, I love receiving direct feedback from my mentors & coaches (cuz they''re ppl I trust, I did pay them after all 😂).

Even if I don’t agree with everything they say or how they say it, I'll always extract what’s useful and move forward.

But not everyone receives feedback the same way.

Some people prefer more TLC.
Some need more context & tact.
Some want you to ask for permission first.
Others just want you to be as damn direct as possible.

All of this depends on the person’s background, values & preferences.

So perhaps giving good feedback isn’t only about whether your advice is correct.

It’s also about whether the person is ready to receive it, and whether your delivery helps them hear it.

A useful qn to ask:

*Is this person actually ready to hear & be open to feedback?*

And as the person receiving feedback, it may also be worth asking:

*Can I extract something useful from this, even if the delivery isn’t exactly how I prefer it?*

You don’t have to accept every piece of advice you receive.
And other people don’t have to follow every piece of advice you give.

But the question I recommend asking the most today is this:

*Is the current way you’ve been receiving feedback serving you well & helping you achieve your goals?*

Have an amazing day folks :)
A client shared he was surprised I still do a lot of inner work.

But I'm definitely not perfect.

I still procastinate.
I make mistakes.
I doubt myself.
I still have resistance.

Etc etc.

But one thing that helped me:

I trust everything happens for a reason.

So instead of feeling grumpy, guilty or unhappy about it...

I trust it'll all work out in the end.

Whether they were failures, things I didn't do, or thinking I should have achieved more than now,

I recognise all these are here to serve me.

That's what I invite all of you to think about today.

How can you be GRATEFUL for all the great, bad or even ugly stuff that has happened?

When that happens, you'll see yourself be way more powerful than bedore.

You got this :)

P.S. Btw, i am sharing the above to show i am not perfect.

I personally dont like it when gurus wanna show how perfect, amazing or flawless they are...

so i hope by showing my more human side, you are reminded that everyone has their own journey too,.
*Invite to 1 of the most important events of the year*

Hey folks, if yall didn’t know by now, the world is getting way more uncertain than ever.

Whether is it cuz of AI, mass layoffs, huge market uncertainty, wars, disruption, society shifts etc…

*Its more important than ever to prepare for massive changes in the coming months & years.*

This’ll help you to:
- Take advantage of what’s coming
- Protect yourself for risks before it’s too late (I REALLY don’t say this to FOMO but things have been silently happening)
- Learn where to focus on in the markets & business space
- understand the most strategic skills to double down on (not just “AI” pls)

At 19, we counted 800 no's daily.

I had joined a street-sales company where we counted 800 to 1,000 no's a day. Rejection was not an occasional setback. It was part of the work.

That experience changed what rejection meant to me.

Those no's were not wasted. They taught us to disqualify, handle objections, deal with difficult people, and keep going without making every answer personal.

The yes is visible, but it is not where most of the learning happens.

Most capable entrepreneurs know this logically, yet one quiet month can still make them shrink. They stop inviting people, soften the offer, or hide inside more preparation because another no feels too personal.

That creates a painful loop.

Fewer invitations create fewer conversations. Fewer conversations create less feedback. Less feedback makes every future invitation feel even heavier.

The best salespeople are not paid for the yeses. They are paid for the no's they are willing to go through.

Rejection is not always a verdict on your value. Sometimes it is simply the practice that helps you recognise the right yes.

The next time you hear no, write down what it taught you before deciding what it means. That keeps the lesson and drops the shame.

If your business has gone quiet and you cannot see whether the real problem is your offer, marketing, or sales process, I can help you diagnose it.

Last week, I recorded a super intense podcast with May Sim, Asia’s top Western astrologer.

May has advised established entrepreneurs, senior leaders inside Fortune 500 companies and government associations. Tens of thousands have also attended her forecast events.

We spoke about:

👉 The future of AI for business owners and employees
👉 The skills we’re developing to prepare for what’s coming
👉 The #1 competitive advantage we’re helping our private clients build
👉 Her predictions for business, markets and industries
👉 How to do more than survive the next few years and actually enjoy them

The conversation was so useful that I’m already updating my investment strategy 😂

Facebook deleted a guy making 6 figures a month.

No warning, no reason given, and nobody to call.

He's a friend of mine. He came back one day and the account was simply gone, and besides word of mouth, most of his clients used to come from there.

His business didn't drop to zero because he has other things running. But watching it happen did something to me.

I went home that night and asked myself a question I'd been avoiding for years.

Which part of my business is sitting on top of one thing I don't actually control?

My marketing lives on platforms I don't own. My list sits inside software I don't own. Even my delivery runs on someone else's servers.

None of that is wrong, and I'm not about to go and build my own Facebook.

But there's a real difference between using something and not being able to survive without it.

The people I know who got hurt these past few years weren't lazy or unlucky. They were fully dependent on one channel, one platform or one client, and nobody notices that until the thing disappears.

Here's the audit I ran on myself, and it took about fifteen minutes.

→ Write down where your last 10 clients actually came from.

→ Circle any source that disappears if you get banned tomorrow.

→ Whatever you circled is the part to start reducing this quarter, before you need to.

Every business has a single point of failure. Most people just haven't gone looking for theirs yet.

I recorded this conversation with May Sim, Asia's top Western astrologer. She's privately consulted and taught hundreds of established entrepreneurs, senior people inside Fortune 500 companies and government associations, and tens of thousands of people have sat through her forecast events.

We spent an hour on where AI is really heading, what's shifting across the markets and industries, and the skills worth building before things get shaky.

I pay for software I could rebuild myself.

It's a scheduling app, costs me about 150 to 200 dollars a year, and there are already versions of it out there doing more or less the same job.

With AI I could probably put my own version together over a weekend.

I'm still not going to do it.

Switching costs me a weekend of setup, a migration, and a week of small annoyances, and none of that is worth 200 dollars to me.

It's a boring little decision, and it taught me the most useful thing I've thought about this month.

People rarely leave because someone else is better. They leave when staying becomes harder than going.

Which changed how I look at my own clients.

I'm not the best business coach in the world and I've never pretended to be. There are people out there with better frameworks, better marketing and much bigger names than mine.

My clients stay because I know their nuances. Their values, their preferences, how they like to be pushed, what they told me they wanted two years ago and quietly changed their mind about since.

Starting over with somebody new means explaining all of that again, and most people would rather keep the person who already gets it.

So if you're busy worrying about whether you're the best in your space, that's probably the wrong thing to be worrying about.

Depth of relationship beats being slightly better at the thing.

You got this 💙

I spent 11 years coaching people before realising I was making one big mistake:

I kept doing the thinking for them.

They left each call with an answer, but returned the next week with another question.

Across 150+ clients and 1,200+ students, I’ve identified 5 levels of coaching, training and mentorship.

Most people stop at Level 1.

Click here for the full 5 levels & breakdown so you can use it yourself.

P.S. I also compiled my favourite coaching questions for each level into a simple checklist.

It works whether you’re a coach, trainer, leader, manager, or simply want to support people better.

I was an investment trainer, and it worried me.

Not the market itself. What worried me was watching people lose money they had spent years earning, and it usually wasn't because the strategy they learned was wrong.

They just couldn't execute it. Some of that was psychology, some of it was skill, and most of them quietly assumed the second part would come free.

I've been thinking about that a lot lately, because plenty of people I speak to are nervous about their jobs right now.

When someone gets nervous about their income, they tend to look at two doors. Start something of their own, or learn to trade their money.

The strange part is how many of them call the first door risky and the second one safe.

Both of them carry real risk. That isn't the useful distinction.

The useful one is how much you actually control. In your own business you choose who you work with, what you sell, what you charge, how you market it, and how hard you push in any given month.

In the market you put your money down and wait. You can be completely right about a company and still lose for reasons nobody saw coming.

I'm not against investing, and I invest myself. But if you're deciding where to put your next 12 months of effort, put it somewhere your effort actually changes the outcome.

Most people aren't bad at business. They've just never tried the version where they get to set the rules.

You got this 💙

Found out today that Baby K has hand, foot & mouth disease.

He’s currently resting at home now after the doctor’s visit, but the funny thing is:

Even though he had fever & vomitted 2 nights in a row, he was still happy, playing & cheerful throughout!

I wanted to remind all of you on this lesson that I've been sharing over the past week:

Have a great week ahead all :)
The biggest problem with Tony Robbins' programs & other seminars isn't what happens at the event. It's what happens after.

I say that as Tony Robbins' #1 affiliate in Asia in 2019. I sold $100K worth of tickets in a single two-week campaign. I still go to his events, and in August 2022 I attended Business Mastery, a USD$10,000 program.

So this isn't an attack on him, or on his events. I genuinely love them.

You leave on a high. Every idea makes sense, every strategy feels obvious, and for a few days you feel like a completely different entrepreneur.

Then you get home, and nothing actually changes.

I lived that exact loop for about five years before I started Master Implementers. Seminar after seminar, and I'd go home inspired every single time.

I implemented almost nothing. I built nothing.

I've said this before on my own channel: you can learn every tactic and strategy in the world, but if you don't master what's internal, your beliefs and your mindset, you'll never succeed.

Information and inspiration don't change a business, only implementation does.

That's the whole reason Master Implementers exists. Not to give you one more strategy to collect, but to help you build on what's already natural to you, and actually install it.

You don't need another event.

You need to implement the one you just left.

You got this 💙

The Tony Robbins Book I Read Before Dad Passed

My dad passed in 2017, and something about how I handled it still surprises people when I tell them.

I wasn't emotionally crushed.

I know how that sounds. Most people expect grief to look a certain way, and when mine looked different, a few assumed I was in denial. I wasn't.

The real reason goes back further than that day. Before my dad passed, I'd already read Tony Robbins' Unlimited Power, back in my army days, during free time in the bunk. One idea from that book never left me. He wrote that in some cultures, people actually celebrate when a loved one passes, not because the loss doesn't matter, but because it's all about how you respond.

That idea had already been tested by the time my dad passed. In an earlier hard season with someone I love, I'd already decided to be the one who walked in with something to lift them, not something to lean on them for. So when my dad passed, being the light for the people around me wasn't new. It was already how I showed up.

When family and friends came, I found myself thanking them instead of falling apart in front of them. That was gratitude, not distance.

I still believe gratitude is the most powerful emotion we get to choose. You cannot be grateful and resentful in the same breath. And so, when life hands me that choice, gratitude is the one I keep reaching for.

It's also why, when I work with entrepreneurs today, we always start with the inner game before any strategy or system. What you build follows how you respond.

My entire audience was a few hundred friends. I still won.

In 2019, Tony Robbins, Dean Graziosi and Russell Brunson opened their new program to affiliates. A USD$2,000 product, 50% commission.

The application form asked for my follower count. The dropdown went up to a million. I had a few hundred, and most of them were my friends.

I applied anyway, because the most I could get was a no.

No list and no ad budget, but I offered one thing nobody else did. Sign up through my link and I'll send you my notes from the whole training.

Two weeks later I was top 40 in the world and number one in Asia.

Nothing I did that fortnight needed permission, a budget, or an audience. It needed me to decide that a no was survivable.

Click here for the 5 biggest lessons from being Tony Robbins' #1 Affiliate in Asia.
The happier I got, the more I made (here's how).

In March 2024, I was making roughly $50,000 a month. On paper, I'd made it.

That same month, I sat in my bedroom and cried. I'd already prepared my resume. I nearly quit.

The business was working. I wasn't.

I was grinding a model that was never built for me.

So I rebuilt, slowly. I let revenue drop on purpose while I found what fit me, and three things carried it.

Gratitude, on purpose, daily. Tony Robbins once called it the most powerful emotion on earth. I treat it as a practice, not a mood.

Ten minutes of silence, every day. It's how I hear my own thinking before the day fills my head with everyone else's.

And I stopped building around a number and started building around my family: trips with my mum, time with my wife, being there for Baby K every day.

Part of that rebuild was accepting something I still haven't shaken: I'll probably never feel fully good enough, no matter the number. And ironically, that acceptance has actually made me a happier husband, entrepreneur, and father.

Happiness was never the reward for hitting the number. It became part of how I hit it.

Since that low, I've crossed S$1M+ in lifetime cash collected.

I haven't arrived. Some weeks it still stresses me out. This was never about being happy every day. It's about which direction you're facing.

If you're an entrepreneur grinding something that looks right on paper but feels wrong in your body, that's not a discipline problem. It might be the wrong formula.

You got this 💙

Years ago, someone I looked up to offered to buy my business.

I was so lucky I said no.

He was going to help me scale it to multiple 7 figures, and it is easy to think that was the obvious yes. I had only just started, I was stressed, and almost nothing was working properly yet.

He was offering to fix every one of those things, and even today, I can't explain why I turned it down.

I still have no idea what my business would look like today if I said yes.

Because today, I know my business is smaller than it could have been. Plenty of people in my space make more money than me & more famous to.

But there are 5 things I got instead, and I would not swap one of them for a bigger business.

Hope this inspires you today:
