5 options for the AfD

The AfD has 39 seats, 3 short of a majority. There are 5 options now, and none of them are ideal.

1. Minority government: possible, but unstable. They would need to bargain for majorities all the time. Siegmund has ruled it out.

2. Coalition AfD + CDU: 54 seats, a strong majority,but politically unlikely because of the CDU firewall & pressure from Merz.

3. CDU defectors: only 3 CDU MPs would be needed to give the AfD 42 seats and a majority. Possible, but defectors can and will defect again.

4: AfD + BSW: 44 seats. Mathematically stable, but risky because both parties contain strong anti-cooperation factions. BSW is unstable and unreliable.

5th option: An Anti-AfD coalition: the remaining parties could unite to block Siegmund OR a new election would be held. Both would strengthen the AfD further and push it toward 45%+ by 2029.

Complicated situation. There are arguments for and against many of these moves.

The AfD won the election, and the democracy simulation is changing the rules.

After a legal battle the Institute for Remigration is now incorporated as a UG/Corporation in Germany.

We have already been working hard the last months:

- We have built an international network of experts, lawyers, and academics with which we will publish numerous studies and papers. The first, on state remigration in Saxony-Anhalt, has already been published.

- We have participated in numerous conferences and connected with right-wing think tanks from all parts of the world. Numerous collaborations are in the making.

- From this we are developing an international fellowship system and will connect remigration experts all over Europe via the hubs in Vienna and Saxony-Anhalt. The goal is to unite the “remigration wing” of all nations into a unified alliance bridging party politics, activism, and research.

- We are working on a rating-system for right wing parties in Europe, adapting the NRA grades and questionaires, to create an independent system of checks and incentives for populists to keep their remigration promises.

- Shortly we will publish a demographics dashboard that visualizes population replacement and time windows for tipping points, as well as remigration. For this we have reviewed and compiled all available population data.

- A white paper on remigration in Germany is nearing completion. We have analyzed all court rulings on the concept of the people and remigration and are defending our progressive remigration concept.

- Our new website will launch soon, and an editorial team will publish a series of dossiers on demography and remigration in all European countries.
