📢✊ Last Sunday, Apr 28, members of Scientist Rebellion and Extinction Rebellion Denmark blocked the road to the Copenhagen Airport in their monthly appointment fighting the flying industry.
🚫✈️ The richest 1% are responsible for more emissions than two-thirds of the world's population. In contrast, they are also the least vulnerable to the consequences of their emissions.
💸The revenue of frequent flyer taxation should pay for the loss and damage of people and areas most vulnerable to the impacts of the climate crisis.
✊From subsidizing fossil fuels to funding genocides: people's money and taxes end up in the hands of a few elites, instead of being redistributed for the benefit of present and future generations.

✊ Pressure has been growing to ban them: activists have been rallying up for bigger and bolder actions, from Schiphol to Code Rouge and Make Them Pay; proposals being debated by Governments; more and more of the ultra-rich being exposed for their scandalous luxury flights; and we’ve already seen a victory!!
