Relive the good ol' days with Yip Yew Chong's murals from the past that feature iconic Singapore scenes. Located along the streets of Tiong Bahru, these murals showcase Singapore's cultural history for all generations to enjoy.

Just like this adorable duo, Mdm Soh Kwai Sim and her granddaughter Kaye Chin in this edition of #MyHouseDownstairs, who bonded over personal anecdotes from the past while posing for fun photos!

Have you ever visited these murals? 📸

Four blocks at Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3 have been identified for Selective En Bloc Redevelopment Scheme (SERS), as part of our efforts to rejuvenate older estates and provide better homes for residents. HDB will build new replacement flats at nearby Ang Mo Kio Drive so that residents and their neighbours can move to the new flats together, and preserve their community bonds.

HDB has been working closely with the contractors and agencies to mitigate the BTO delays arising from COVID-19 disruptions. While we have been able to catch up on some projects, the extent of delays, which varies by project, has largely remained at between 6 to 12 months.

We will continue to periodically update affected buyers on the progress and revised updated completion dates of their new flats, based on our latest estimate on project timelines. For ongoing projects, we continue to expect most flat buyers to be able to move into their new homes within 4 to 5 years.

The Round Island Route (RIR) is the longest recreational connection that encircles Singapore in the east, stretching across 75km.

But this is only Phase One of the project. The completed RIR will be 150km long, as part of NParks’ overall plans to curate a 360km island-wide network of recreational park connectors and trails. This greatly supports our transformation into a City in Nature, a key pillar in the Singapore Green Plan.

While we await the RIR’s completion, check out these six key areas that are connected through Phase One of the RIR!
