The Long-Term Plan Review (LTPR) exhibition was launched yesterday! It features our long-term strategies and plans for the next 50 years and beyond.

The exhibition also marks the conclusion of the LTPR engagements with over 15,000 people over the past year. The conversation does not end here though. Our plans are continually being updated, and we welcome your feedback and ideas. You can check out the exhibition at The URA Centre until 4 August, following which it will rove to the heartlands too!

The Community Advisory Panel (CAP) on Neighbourhood Noise has been set up to look at developing a set of community norms to better manage noise disputes in our neighbourhood.

The CAP is engaging the public to hear your views on norms to help with noise management.

💡 Try something new this school holidays with your kids!

Spring onions are not only a common garnish used to flavour soups and dishes, but they’re also one of the easiest edible plants to grow! No soil or seeds required – all you need are leftover spring onions and a jar of water.

This form of gardening is known as vegetative propagation – the process of growing using parts of the plant other than its seeds. It’s also the perfect opportunity to teach children about sustainability and food security, in line with our #CityinNature vision, and a key pillar of the #SGGreenPlan for sustainable development.

Join Us for the Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) on Neighbourhood Noise!

The Community Advisory Panel (CAP) on Neighbourhood Noise was recently set up to address issues related to noise. To support the panel’s work, the Municipal Services Office is working with the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth to conduct a series of public FGDs in July and August.

The FGDs in July are now open for registration! Your involvement will help the panel to develop a set of community norms that will serve as a useful benchmark to address noise issues on the ground and build a more harmonious living environment.

How do we strengthen our mobility networks and be more sustainable and efficient in our travels?

Among the plans is the expansion of our rail network to 360km by the 2030s, and to tap on technology and innovation to develop a sustainable and people-centric mobility network.

We will also prioritise more road space for walking, cycling and public transport, while piloting new ideas like courier hubs.
