◾According to Charles Birch, an explosives removal expert at the U.N. Argentina now has the highest inflation of any country globally, above Lebanon and Venezuela.
The free-market "libertarian" was supposed to reduce inflation through "fiscal responsibility". However, Javier Milei's policy of ending price and exchange rate controls has pushed inflation up more than 100 points within just a few months.
Argentina already has one of the lowest minimum wages in Latin America, at just $200 per month. Now, the megadevaulation of the currency and record inflation have made life impossible for many.
Milei has also eliminated more than 24,000 public sector jobs and plans to reach 70,000 jobs cuts—a nightmare scenario for those newly unemployed during a record-breaking inflation period.

◾The Lavon affair was a failed Israeli covert operation, codenamed Operation Susannah, conducted in Egypt in the summer of 1954. As part of a false flag operation, a group of Egyptian Jews were recruited by Israeli military intelligence to plant bombs inside Egyptian-, American-, and British-owned civilian targets: cinemas, libraries, and American educational centers. The bombs were timed to detonate several hours after closing time. The attacks were to be blamed on the Muslim Brotherhood, Egyptian communists, "unspecified malcontents", or "local nationalists" with the aim of creating a climate of sufficient violence and instability to induce the British government to retain its occupying troops in Egypt's Suez Canal zone.

🇬🇪 Protests against the bill on “foreign agents” continue in Georgia. Previously, the parliamentary committee on legal issues approved it, and today deputies began considering it.
Several thousand people gathered at the parliament building to protest against the planned changes. SWAT officers arrived to ensure the deputies' safety and also set up a water cannon.
Currently, security forces have started dispersing the protesters, using tear gas and detaining radical demonstrators. Tomorrow, we can expect further protests as the rescheduled vote on the law will take place.
🔻The bill on foreign agents was extensively discussed in Georgia back in March 2023, and was withdrawn after a series of protests. However, it was reintroduced in April this year.
Additionally, some media outlets have once again suggested that the unrest is incited by the West to maintain the influence of its NGOs and various “independent media.” Yet, as was the case last year, the situation in Tbilisi remains within the bounds of standard internal politics.
There is no reason to believe that enacting the law will lead to the shutdown of numerous Western organizations. It is improbable that the Georgian government will alter its political direction and cease cooperation with the West.
