So far Germany's defense before the ICJ seems to be based primarily on moral statements such as "we are the good guys."
Germany, the world champion of double standards and cynicism, supplies Israel with #weapons to help in its ongoing genocide of Palestinians, while at the same time air-dropping small amounts of "humanitarian aid" in the Gaza Strip.
Cynical as always the German State seems to believe that doing the latter will somehow protect it from culpability, and absolve it from all responsibility, for doing the former

Kamel Ajour Bakery is one of the first three bakeries to resume work after being closed for months due to a lack of essential supplies.
According to Palestinian sources and eyewitnesses, the UN World Food Program (WFP), provided the three bakeries with gas to operate the automated machines and flour for bread making.
A report by the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification, a UN-backed initiative, found last month that the entire population of Gaza, estimated to be around 2.3 million, is enduring "acute" food insecurity, while half the population suffers from a greater level of food insecurity classified as "catastrophic".
