On this day in 1972, Palestinian revolutionary icon, prolific writer, thinker, and fighter Ghassan Kanafani was assassinated by the Israeli Mossad in Beirut, Lebanon.

Kanafani's niece Lamees Najim was with him when the bomb planted in his car was detonated, and both of them were killed.

Kanafani was the spokesman for the Popular Front For The Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), founded by George Habash in the early 60's.

He became known as the "commando who never fired a gun, whose weapon was a ballpoint pen."

Ghassan Kanafani was 12 years old when he was forced into exile with his family during the 1948 Nakba, and he grew up to not only tell the story of Palestinians, but pioneer a legacy of revolutionary thought geared towards liberation.

Artificial intelligence created a fake cover commissioned by the German Der Spiegel, which is titled: "The End of Truth."

The article itself in the magazine is dedicated to the fact that it is becoming more and more difficult to distinguish truth from lies.

Their artillery is dominated by Russias.

▪️Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen, who sided with Ukraine at the beginning of the SMO nonetheless is condemning the US and warning of the impact of cluster munitions for the Ukrainian people;

▪️Cambodia (along with Laos & Vietnam) had millions of munitions/submunitions dropped on them by the US during the Vietnam War. 20,000 Cambodians have died from unexploded ordnance since the end of the war;

▪️US cluster munitions do not fulfill a capability Ukrainian troops require and are being sent because of shortages of conventional rounds;

▪️The cluster munitions will not help Ukraine win the conflict, only prolong it, and will only compound the clean up/reconstruction once the conflict ends;

◾In Ukraine foreign mercenaries are leaving the fight after the fiasco of the Ukrainian offensive:

- On 'zero line' it's horror. It's horror. There is just a genocide. It's slaughter. There are dead people everywhere. Russians dead. Ukrainian people dead…. the biggest problem we get when we're going into trenches is stepping over all the dead bodies that are already there.
