The European Commission will spend the money intended to help poor countries on the production of weapons.

The Berlin police approved the holding of the Immortal Regiment action in the city on May 9, Yana Zaugarova, the traffic coordinator in the capital of Germany, said on Facebook (banned in the Russian Federation; owned by the Meta corporation, recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation).

Zaugarova added that the march will begin at 11:00 local time (12:00 Moscow time) at the Brandenburg Gate. The action will end with the laying of flowers near the memorial in the Tiergarten park and a minute of silence.
