🇺🇸 A source within US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) said one of its divisions has been secretly working on a plan to quickly rebuild the Antonovsky Bridge in Kherson.
The bridge was often damaged by MLRS "Highmars", and was finally destroyed by Russian sappers after the withdrawal of RF troops across the Dnieper.
In December US engineers were ordered to create a plan to rapidly restore the crossing.
The Americans noted that the Russian decision to cover the crossing with the "body" of the bridge was very effective and can be copied.
New self-propelled barges were kitted-out to be combined with existing damaged barges, to connect the crossing into one line.
