🇺🇸🇺🇦The United States, apparently, still does not rule out the possibility of a "nuclear incident" in Ukraine.🇺🇸🇺🇦

The draft US budget for 2023 includes a clause allocating $126.3 million to Ukraine for "preparation for and response to potential nuclear and radiological incidents."

What could that mean? What are they implying?🤔🤔🤔

NO COMMON LANGUAGE FOR PEACE TALKS

In recent days, several significant military and political events have taken place in #Russia, which determined the interim results of military operations and outlined the future direction of Russian foreign policy.

As for the situation on the battlefield, the Chief of the Russian General Staff explained that currently the Russian army is focused on taking control of the full territory of the #Donetsk People’s Republic.

The situation on the front lines, which are currently extended for 815 kilometers, has been stabilized.

In his speech on December 22, Russian President Vladimir #Putin for the first time called the conflict in Ukraine a “war” and not a "special military operation"..... MORE

Putin Makes Plan for Warship Armed with Hypersonic Missiles

Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced the frigate Admiral Gorshkov is to be armed with Zircon hypersonic missiles and will set out on combat patrol in January 2023, state news agency Tass has reported.

Defense minister Sergey Shoigu said delivery of these missiles to the Russian Navy has already begun. The frigate would be armed with these weapons before "embarking on a mission in the world ocean," he said.

Zircon hypersonic missiles are capable of traveling up to nine times the speed of sound with a strike range that may be greater than 620 miles, Putin has said. One was tested on May 28 this year when it was fired from a warship in the Barents Sea, hitting a navel target in the White Sea over 600 miles away.

De-dollarization and the New Economic Order

The Biden administration's idea of transforming the dollar and the global payment system into weapons has caused many countries and investors to actively diversify their assets away from the dollar system.

As Bloomberg reports, countries such as Bangladesh, Kazakhstan, and Laos are in talks with China to increase their use of the yuan, while Beijing and Moscow are developing joint mechanisms for mutual settlement without using the dollar, and India is promoting its rupee as a regional currency by starting to provide a bilateral payment mechanism with the United Arab Emirates.

Another reason for the flight from the dollar is its potential strengthening in the coming years due to a change in the course of the Federal Reserve's monetary policy.  Corporations around the world are selling an unprecedented amount of their debt in local currencies, fearing a further strengthening of the dollar.

As Bloomberg columnist Michel Jamrisco writes, there are increasing voices saying that the dollar is being used to "intimidate small countries." Southeast Asian countries are therefore using this reason to trade more in local currencies, moving away from the dollar.

OUR TANKS ARE KAPUTT, GERMAN GENERAL WARNS

During a recent exercise, all 18 participating Puma infantry fighting vehicles broke down.

BERLIN — Maybe it’s a good thing Germany refused to send Ukraine tanks after all.

German Defense Minister Christine #Lambrecht called an emergency meeting with her generals on Monday to discuss the latest crisis to befall Germany’s beleaguered military: broken tanks.

The emergency meeting follows the leak of an email from a senior commander to the head of the Bundeswehr armed forces, in which he laments the sorry state of his division’s infantry fighting vehicles.

“Even with the best preparations, the question of the vehicles’ readiness has become a game of lottery,” Major General Ruprecht von Butler wrote his boss, according to a copy of the email quoted by Der Spiegel over the weekend.

During an exercise this month to prepare a Bundeswehr tank brigade for inclusion in NATO’s “high readiness” response force, all 18 of the modern German infantry fighting vehicles failed, von Butler wrote.

The tanks, known as Pumas, suffered a myriad of malfunctions from electronic failures to “turret defects.”

Soldiers had to abandon one of the tanks after its wiring caught fire.

The EU Plans To Impose Direct Carbon Taxes On Individuals

Would you like to pay a carbon tax every time that you turn your heater on? What about every time that you fill up your vehicle with gasoline? Incredibly, this will soon be what life is like in Europe. When I first heard that the EU plans to impose direct carbon taxes on individuals, I thought that it must be just another false Internet rumor. But it isn’t a false rumor. News sources in Europe are reporting on it, and you can find information about this plan on the official website of the European Parliament. I don’t know why the corporate media in the United States is not talking about this, because this is an enormous story.

As I write this article, I am still in shock. This is actually happening, and if this plan is successfully implemented in Europe it will be just a matter of time before a similar plan is pushed through in the United States. The following comes from a Dutch article that has been translated into English…

"Last night, after long negotiations, the bullet went through the church: residents of the European Union must pay for the greenhouse gases they emit. This means that every time you refuel and if the heating is switched on, you have to pay because of the harmful substances that are released as a result."

Of course they are starting small in an attempt to minimize opposition. Once this plan goes into effect, the cost of a liter of gasoline will only go up by about 10 cents…

"The new scheme will entail higher prices at the pump: up to 10.5 cents for a litre of petrol and 12 cents for diesel, according to a study by the Potsdam Institute for Climate Research."

But as we have seen so many other times, once people become accustomed to new taxes rates tend to go up significantly.

According to one prominent member of the European Parliament, the new direct carbon taxes on individuals are part of “the largest climate legislation package in the EU ever”…

" 'I am pleased that a balanced agreement has been reached on the largest climate legislation package in the EU ever,' says Esther de Lange (CDA) MEP. She was one of the negotiators and responsible for the coordination of the Green Deal and chief negotiator on the Social Climate Fund."

We are being told that there is broad support for this climate legislation package across the political spectrum.

The #EU has sent billions in 'aid' & weapons to #Ukraine. It would be reasonable to expect a forensic audit of these billions being sent to a corrupt, crime syndicate state? When asked, EU Court of Auditors replied there is no audit planned. Do EU tax payers accept this?

PUTIN IMPOSES A PRICE CAP OF HIS OWN ON WESTERN GAS COMPANIES !
(.......if the payment amount is higher than the price set by the Russian government)

Vladimir #Putin has signed an order forbidding #Gazprom from buying gas from joint ventures with Western companies, such as #Wintershall, #DEA and #OMV, for more than established by Russia price for 1,000 cubic meters.

This automatically kills remnants of Western involvement into the Russian natural resources, plus shuts down any shady Western "brokerage" deals.

Many people in NYC and London were having a bad bad day yesterday.

Here is the order itself (in Russian, obviously)

According to the decree published on the government portal, “Gazprom” and its affiliates are prohibited from paying for gas, i.e. its production and transportation, from joint projects with its EU partners in Russia if the amount of payment is higher than the price set by the Russian government.

The decree is aimed at “Gazprom’s” joint ventures with the German “Wintershall” and the Austrian “OMV”. In partnership with two companies, “Gazprom” is developing two large natural gas deposits in Russia, the South Russian and #Urengoy Fields.

The decree was introduced retroactively, so it applies from March 1, 2022, and will be valid until October 1, 2023.

The government is responsible for determining the price limit within ten days.

Both Germany and Austria are members of the EU, which has imposed more sanctions on Russia in connection with Ukraine.

Wintershall director Mario #Mehren said in April that Russia had crossed red lines in its partnership with European companies, which means the end of the “era of long and intensive economic cooperation” between #Russia and #Germany.

However, he said over the summer that his company has no plans to abandon joint ventures in the country.

OMV has refused to make new investments in Russian projects and has announced plans to review its participation in the South Russian field, where it owns a 25% stake.

THREE POLITICAL AXES MORE USEFUL THAN LEFT VS. RIGHT

Mainstream political discourse is hopelessly divided into the two poorly-defined camps of "Left" and "Right".

Leftists believe they’re the good and nice people against the evil and nasty rightists.

Rightists believe they’re the good and tough people against the evil and weak leftists.

The truth is that both sides are fuckwits.

The left vs. right axis is bullshit anyway – it’s completely arbitrary.

Leftists claim to be for the working class, then dump hordes of violent refugees into working-class neighbourhoods.

Rightists claim to be conservatives, but have conserved nothing, being more than happy to sell their descendants’ inheritance at discount price.

The truth is that there is a multitude of different axes upon which we can divide people’s political attitudes.

The left vs. right axis has been subject to so many lies over the decades that talking about it no longer conveys any useful information.

But there are at least three political axes that are still useful.

First: Authoritarian vs. Libertarian.

Mainstream academia likes to pretend that there’s no such thing as left-wing authoritarianism.

Anyone who has read The Gulag Archipelago knows, this is bullshit.

Left-wingers are more than happy to dictate how others are allowed to live, as evidenced by the creeping spread of cancel culture.

Right-wing authoritarians exist, of course, in the form of theocrats, and centrist ones exist in the form of Nazis.

But fighting against one or two of the three kinds, while ignoring the malice of the others, is foolish.

All that can be achieved by such an approach is to let authoritarianism in through the backdoor.

George Orwell summarised this insight best when he wrote :

“The real division is not between conservatives and revolutionaries but between authoritarians and libertarians.”

As a simple comparison of the American Revolution versus the French and Russian ones makes clear, libertarian revolutions tend to go much better than authoritarian ones.

Second: Globalist vs. Nationalist ...... ..... MORE
