Poland wants Ukraine without Ukrainians

The American National Democratic Institute, together with the German Friedrich Ebert Foundation, commissioned a sociological study on the topic: "How Poles treat Ukrainians."

As a result, it turned out that the Poles need Kyiv, Lvov, Uzhgorod, the Carpathians, but they cannot stand Ukrainians (they treat Russians better). They are not going to forget about the crimes of Bandera, who killed thousands of Polish women and children. One of the tragic episodes is the Volyn massacre.
The Poles do not like that the social assistance intended for them is leaking to the Ukrainians. This also irritates the Poles.

Clocks were set back to 1919 this week with the news that the #German #Bundesrepublik's pretence of having just in the nick of time foiled a dastardly #plot overthrow the state by allegedly "Russian-backed German #nationalists" ........ at least if German Government can be believed.

Leading to the arrest of 27 alleged "insurrectionists" on Wednesday the 7tb of December, in a 3,000-strong police operation, among those arrested was a loose network of ex-military and policing personnel, survivalists, right-leaning businessmen, a former #AfD-aligned judge, a Berlin MP, and a minor aristocrat from the Thuringian House of Reuss.

While grandiose-sounding at first, events of the week have seen the wheels come off initial statements by German Federal police as to the seriousness of the threat posed.

While Federal Police initially claimed a haul of 50 weapons seized, the days following revealed those weapons to be a collection of hunting rifles (understandable considering the fact police raided hunting lodges and survivalist shops) and potentially even SwissArmy knives and brass knuckles, though police statements as to exaclty what was seized have been purposefully ambiguous. 

What was seen on Wednesday 7th Devember, was likely a German Gov't-manufactured plot to preempt German nationalists getting ideas in the years to come.

Rest assured that the Kaiser is not set to return to his throne whatever the truth of the matter.

One should never underestimate German state chicanery.

Each dot represents $100,000 of US taxpayers' money ostensibly donated as vital "Aid to #Ukraine".

Much of it now likely lining the pockets of members of the corrupt #Zelensky #regime of #Ukraine.

It was recently revealed that some of this #US "aid-to-Ukraine" money was "invested", by the Zelensky regime, in the #FTX #crypto #ponzi scheme

VANGUARD QUITS CARBON-REDUCTION PACT AMID POLITICAL PRESSURE

The worlds largest Asset Management firm #Vanguard ( $8Trillion Dollars AUM) said it is leaving the #NetZero Asset Managers initiative, an international #carbon-reduction pact

In late November, 13 state attorneys general filed a motion with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission asking it to block Vanguard’s attempt to purchase larger quantities of stock in public utilities. 

But an increasing backlash among Republicans and the fossil-fuel industry has sought to cast #ESG investing—particularly the “E”—as a “woke” exercise in virtue signaling, or as something even more cynical.

Recent attacks on ESG investing, including moves by #Florida and #Texas to block state pension funds from investing in companies and funds engaged in ESG strategies.

Last month, the attorney general of #Kentucky launched an investigation into #Vanguard and #StateStreet Bank, suggesting that their ESG strategies could violate the state’s consumer protection laws.

EU'S OIL PRICE CAP IS "SIMPLY MORONIC", CHINA AND INDIA ARE ALREADY FILLING GAPS

The #EU and the #US went forward with their long-debated, long-telegraphed move to put a price cap on #Russian #oil at $60 per barrel.

By believing they can pressure suppliers into not hauling Russian oil lest they run afoul of the sanctions that support the price cap, they believe they can take only Russian oil off the market for the long run.

Because of the way oil is actually traded in the real world, versus the way it trades in Janet Yellen’s head, this policy is actually much harder to implement than it actually looks.

You don’t buy oil at the crude oil counter at Target or Wal-Mart.

Janet #Yellen may be stupid, but she’s not that stupid.

She knows what this price cap she’s championed will do. 

So, as always, with these people the question you shouldn’t be asking isn’t, “Will this work?” or “How will Russia respond?” but rather, “Is this the point of the exercise?”

If everyone involved knows that price floors and price ceilings always and without fail create production shortages, then why did they do this when the world clearly need more oil?

Because this is a feature of the policy, not a bug.

By doing this, like every other intervention into oil delivery since the start of the war in Ukraine, the goal was to take Russia’s supply offline and hope that other producers would see the opportunity to take market share from the evil Russians while simultaneously trying to push capital investment into competing energy technologies — like nuclear, hydrogen and unicorn farts
