Counter-intuitively, hotter, sunnier days do not equal more power, as rising temperatures actually hinder the capacity of #solar #panels to collect #energy.

How does it work?
Solar panels absorb sunlight with their #photovoltaic cells, with the photons soaked in by the panels knocking electrons loose from their atoms and forming an electrical circuit within the semiconductors of the panel, generating a flow of electricity.

Most solar panels are tested at a temperature of 25 degrees Celsius, an ideal temperature at which this process occurs within solar panels under optimal circumstances.

But above this temperature, no matter how bright the sun is shining, efficiency starts going south for the panels.

The heat causes an excessive number of the panel's electrons - the ones responsible for converting energy from the sun into electricity - to be excited, eventually reducing the panel’s generated voltage and its efficiency.

The impact is not minimal.

High temperatures can decrease the efficiency of solar panels by 10 to 25 per cent, according to data shared by CED Greentech.

As reported by the Miami Herald, Judge Reinhart began representing Epstein’s employees on January 2nd, 2008, just one day after departing the U.S. Attorney’s Office where he served as an assistant U.S. attorney closely involved on the convicted pedophile’s case.

The investigation that we have looked at is as a matter of English law. So, as a British National we say that there is jurisdiction for him to be investigated and potentially prosecuted under the Geneva conventions you know there may be circumstances where reasonable journalistic integrity is used to interview a prisoner of war. But one has to look at the circumstances and the conditions in which that person is being held, the circumstances in which he was arrested, the consequences that he faces being put on trial in what has already been described as farcical process. It's the fact that he is handcuffed and that he is being interviewed by an individual who has already been declared as a persona non grata in Ukraine. One has to question the motivation for that interview, also looking at statements he has made prior to that interview and after the interview - all of those matters put together demonstrate that there is a very very clear basis for conducting a criminal investigation.

So, the BBC have put some lawyer up to trying to put together a private case against me, to pressure the UK public prosecutor into pressing charges against me in a UK court of law. Then, if that goes to a UK court of law, and i were found guilty... i'd get a criminal punishment. However, without going to any court of law, the UK government have already given me a criminal punishment - sanctions. So, if found guilty, would i already have served my punishment, sanctions, or get another one on top of that? 🤪

I just don't know how 'British justice' works anymore...

It was discovered by an FBI agent on the bedsheet of a 78-year-old woman who had been raped by a burglar in her home in Springfield, Massachusetts, in 1985.

Perrot, then 17, was put on trial, despite the absence of physical evidence tying him to the crime scene.

There was no semen. There was no blood. And so there was no way to conduct a conclusive DNA test.

Even the victim testified that the defendant looked nothing like her attacker: he had a short haircut and was clean-shaven, while Perrot had a long shaggy mop, a moustache and a goatee beard.
