NEW EVIDENCE OF MASS MURDER OF RUSSIAN PRISONERS OF WAR BY UKRAINIAN SOLDIERS
August 6, 2022
Irrefutable #evidence of the #execution of Russian prisoners of war (#POW)by Ukrainian militants — at the disposal of “Readovka” are videos taken shortly before the brutal execution of our soldiers and immediately after it.
Detailed analysis of the evidence and circumstances of the tragedy:
On August 3, we published a video filmed by Ukrainian militants this spring at the end of March in the #Chernigov region.
It depicts the bodies of #unarmed Russian prisoners of war, shot in the head in cold blood.
The executioners who dealt with our soldiers, contrary to all the provisions of the Geneva Convention, mocked the dead and boasted with laughter that they shot one while trying to escape..... MORE

NEW BATCHES OF UKRAINIAN TROOPS QUITTING THE FIGHT AS RUSSIA GRINDS ON
Ukraine’s President #Zelensky is spooked and having a tough time hiding it.
In remarks made on August 3rd, Zelensky is complaining that Europe is dragging its feet in supplying financial support to keep Ukraine afloat.
Zelensky then made a startling admission about who is winning the war in Ukraine:
“We still cannot break the advantage of the Russian army in artillery and in manpower, and this is very felt in the battles, especially in the Donbass – Peski, Avdiivka, and other directions.
It’s just hell.
It can’t even be described in words.”
When you consider the fact that Ukraine’s armed forces outnumbered the Russians who invaded by a factor of 3 to 1, ....... then you have to ask– exactly what “advantage” does the outnumbered Russian army enjoy?

Ukrainian TV personality, Yanina Sokolova.
A Ukrainian TV personality, infamous for Russophobic propaganda, stated on the air of the NTA TV channel: "Russians must not be taken prisoner. They must simply be killed. I don't see any chances to reach them, we've done everything (in our power). Nothing works. We will only win when we kill as many of them as possible, as well as disarm and demilitarize them. I have a lot of friends on Facebook and I often don't have room for new friends. So yesterday I removed all the "adequate Russians" with pro-Ukrainian views and blocked them all. I believe they have a collective sickness for which there is no cure other than to destroy them. I want them all to be destroyed as quickly as possible," the TV personality said.

GREETINGS FROM AN AMERICAN IN RUSSIA
If you’ve never been to #Russia, #Moscow feels a bit like D.C. — streets and plazas on a scale hostile to pedestrians, impressive metro, intimidating government buildings raised by and for the political class.
Saint #Petersburg is more like New York, the country’s intellectual capital, steeped in history, sophisticated and hip rather than utilitarian and brutalist.
Friends worried about my safety. Their concerns could not possibly have been more misplaced.
Some worried that I’d be detained like the WNBA player #Brittney #Griner, who got caught at a Moscow airport with vape cartridges containing #cannabis residue yet is being portrayed as a political hostage of Vladimir #Putin.
I wish Griner the best and hope she doesn’t go to prison, but I don’t understand the assumption of Americans that they don’t have to obey the law when they visit a foreign country.
If you can’t conform to local legal norms, stay home
The Russian economy, Americans have been told, is a wreck. If so, it’s the biggest secret in Russia.
Storefronts are occupied, bustling with shoppers like it’s the week before Christmas.
Gas prices are a reasonable $3 a gallon.
Highways and city streets are choking with car traffic and pedestrians. Restaurants and bars are doing brisk business. New buildings are going up.
Nowhere in the nation’s two most important cities does one find deranged armies of homeless people screaming at thin air and threatening people, streets blanketed with litter and shattered and boarded-up storefronts, as are blighting New York.
There was an hour-long line — on a Tuesday — to enter the Hermitage Museum in Saint Petersburg.
To be sure, sanctions are affecting the tourism business. Hotel prices have fallen as a result.
Restaurants in tourist areas have been impacted as well. Westerners stopped coming when COVID began two years ago; this feels like an extension of that. So it’s not a shock.
Some Western businesses, like McDonald’s and Starbucks, have closed.
Who cares, except the Russian workers who got laid off?
Burger King is everywhere. As in Rome or Paris, you can score a much better cup of joe at a zillion cafes.
Nothing has made as big an impression on businesses in Russia as Visa and Mastercard’s decision to stop honoring American- and European-issued debit and credit cards in Russia.
Russian nationals can use their MIR debit and credit cards here, but not in the West.
When Westerners come to Russia, we have to bring a stack of cash to pay for everything, including hotels.
There is a sort of workaround; I have an account at one of the major U.S. banks that still has branches here and so have been able to withdraw cash via ATM

I'm interested in stories that go uncovered and undercovered. Fewer stories are less obscured today than life in Russia under Western sanctions. I'm especially interested in stories that are so imbued with spin and propaganda that the news media has abandoned…

The former US president has said his Mar-A-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida, was "raided, and occupied by a large group of FBI agents."
What I love bout this is her 100% complete conviction that her problem is cause by the airline and not at all by herself.

It is a measure of how desperate and completely divorced from reality that that the Ukraine and western narratives have become that #Zelensky can say on camera, and, without blinking, that #Russia fired at the #Zaporozhye nuclear power plant twice today and all western media will instantly pretend to believe it and print it as true.

TOO HOT FOR SOLAR POWER: EUROPE'S HEAT WAVE MAKES SOLAR PANELS LESS EFFICIENT
Counter-intuitively, hotter, sunnier days do not equal more power, as rising temperatures actually hinder the capacity of #solar #panels to collect #energy.
How does it work?
Solar panels absorb sunlight with their #photovoltaic cells, with the photons soaked in by the panels knocking electrons loose from their atoms and forming an electrical circuit within the semiconductors of the panel, generating a flow of electricity.
Most solar panels are tested at a temperature of 25 degrees Celsius, an ideal temperature at which this process occurs within solar panels under optimal circumstances.
But above this temperature, no matter how bright the sun is shining, efficiency starts going south for the panels.
The heat causes an excessive number of the panel's electrons - the ones responsible for converting energy from the sun into electricity - to be excited, eventually reducing the panel’s generated voltage and its efficiency.
The impact is not minimal.
High temperatures can decrease the efficiency of solar panels by 10 to 25 per cent, according to data shared by CED Greentech.

Why record-breaking heatwaves aren’t good news for solar power
The sun is blasting western Europe as extreme temperatures grip the region - and yet solar panels cannot make the most out of it.

JUDGE BEHIND TRUMP RAID IS OBAMA DONOR LINKED TO PEDOPHILE JEFFERY EPSTEIN
Judge Bruce #Reinhart is believed to have signed off on a warrant responsible for the raid on #Trump’s #PalmBeach property Mar-A-Lago
According to the the Miami Herald, a “source said FBI agents obtained a search warrant from a federal magistrate judge in West Palm Beach.”
Politico explained that of the three magistrate judges in that office, two recent warrant applications, both of which were assigned to Reinhart, were entered into the system on Monday.
The subject of the warrants, however, remains sealed.
As reported by the Miami Herald, Judge Reinhart began representing Epstein’s employees on January 2nd, 2008, just one day after departing the U.S. Attorney’s Office where he served as an assistant U.S. attorney closely involved on the convicted pedophile’s case.
Accused of leveraging “inside information about Epstein’s investigation to curry favor with Epstein,” in 2011, he was named as a prosecutor who allegedly violated the rights of an underage girl whom Epstein solicited sex from in the Crime Victims’ Rights Act lawsuit
