In the UK press, one “expert” was “warning” that #Monkeypox will become “endemic” if we don’t “take action”.

The “expert” also suggests that it would be wrong to “sit back and watch” monkeypox become endemic in “men who have sex with men”.

Perhaps revealing the point of that part of the narrative – that if you reject monkeypox as anything to be worried about at all, you’re just being homophobic or speaking with “straight privilege”.

A similar angle is taken in this NPR piece, which claims that “the warning signs were there” with monkeypox for over a decade, and the only reason we never did anything about it is that it only affected poor African nations.

Ergo, if you don’t care about monkeypox you’re a racist

GAZPROM TELLS EUROPE GAS SUPPLY HALT IS BEYOND ITS CONTROL

#Russia's #Gazprom has told customers in #Europe it cannot guarantee gas supplies because of 'extraordinary' circumstances, according to a letter seen by Reuters, upping the ante in an economic tit-for-tat with the West over Moscow's invasion of #Ukraine.

The July 14 letter from the Russian state gas monopoly said it was retroactively declaring force majeure on supplies dating from June 14.

The news comes as Nord Stream 1, the key pipeline delivering Russian gas to Germany and beyond, is undergoing annual maintenance meant to conclude on Thursday.

Gazprom cut the pipeline's capacity to 40% on June 14, citing the delay of a turbine being maintained in Canada by equipment supplier Siemens Energy

Meanwhile the Russian Ruble trades at 54.5 to the Dollar, the strongest it has been in years

The #Kiev regime has claimed its readiness to use the #US-made #MLRS #HIMARS to attack the Crimean peninsula.

Despite the #Kiev’s promises not to shell the Russian territories with their HIMARS, they claim #Crimea a perfect targets as it is not recognized as the Russian territory by Kiev, or by Washington.

Moscow has already warned of a terrifying response for #Ukraine in the event of such an attack.

So far, the Russian military has destroyed three Ukrainian HIMARS out of 12 systems supplied by the West.

The third one was hit by Russian missiles in the Krasnoarmeysk region on July 17.

KIEV CONDUCTED EXTREMELY DANGEROUS RESEARCH IN ITS BIOLABS

According to a new report from Russian authorities, several extremely #dangerous diseases were being studied in #research operated in the #biolabs, with Ukrainian citizens being subjected to #illegal experiments that put their lives at great risk.

Konstantin #Kosachev, co-chair of the Russian parliamentary commission convened to investigate the activities of #US-Funded (i.e.: #Fauci) biolaboratories in #Ukraine, stated on Monday, July 19, that #bacteriological #experiments were being secretly carried out on the Ukrainian military in order to advance research about some diseases.

“Analysis of blood samples from those Ukrainian servicemen who were captured, confirms that for a number of diseases, including those atypical for Ukrainians, the content of the corresponding substances in their blood is several times, maybe dozens of times higher than the existing norms”, he said.......

TURKEY ESCALATES STRIKES ON NORTHERN IRAQ
