DID CANADA TURN OFF THE TAP? ENGINE SITTING IN MONTREAL IS SAID TO BE WHY RUSSIANS CUT GAS SUPPLY TO EUROPE

Sanctions prompt #Ottawa to sit on #Siemens #gas-#turbine #engine, spurring 60 per cent cut in #NordStream 1 supply by Russian energy giant #Gazprom.....

MONTREAL—It is as powerful as a jet engine and vital to supplying Europe with its energy needs, but it is grounded — in Montreal of all places.

A gas-turbine engine used for more than a decade to pressurize the Nord Stream pipeline that delivers Russian natural gas to Germany has fallen into the crosshairs of Canadian sanctions meant to punish Russia for its invasion of Ukraine.

The turbine was sent out for repairs to a Siemens Energy facility in Montreal — the only place where the work could be done — and is now stranded there.

💬 Russian MFA Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova:

Kiev and its Western patrons are pursuing their disinformation campaign against our country.

In early April, they tried to accuse Russian military personnel of killing civilians in Bucha. The evidence clearly showed it was a staged performance carried out by Ukrainian and Western intelligence agencies.

But the way, what's up with Bucha? Where are the names and pictures of the people and their life stories?

A week after the incident in Bucha the Ukrainian Armed Forces hit the railway station in Kramatorsk with a Tochka U missile and again accused our country of the air strike.

Even Western journalists, who started correcting their own mistakes and then stopped covering this topic altogether, said it was a lie.

On June 13, 2022, Kiev again tried to accuse Russia of shelling the central part of Donetsk with NATO-made ammunition.

Such cynicism can neither be understood nor qualified.

Zelensky announced that Ukraine was able to "return" an Azov member, who claimed she was "just a medic" call-sign "Tayra".
Remind you - she was captured in March at the checkpoint trying to leave Mariupol pretending to be a civilian and had two children with her... Children were not related to her in any way.🤬

If true it is not a good look as it undermines Russian "denazification" claims... because that bitch seems to be as Nazi as it gets

FRANCE NO LONGER RECEIVING ANY RUSSIAN GAS VIA PIPELINES

Since June 15, I guess this wasn't 'news'.

#France wisely has a lot of nuclear, making it much more #energy-independent than #Germany which, since shutting down its #Nuclear and #Coal #electricity #generation plants, now relies heavily on #Russian #Gas

#Gazprom said the supply reductions via the #NordStream pipeline are the result of repair work, but EU officials believe Moscow is punishing allies of #Ukraine, where #Russian forces launched an invasion in February.

France gets around 17 percent of its gas from Russia through network connections with Germany, which relies heavily on Russian supplies and has criticised Gazprom’s move as “political”.

Supplies had already been reduced by 60 percent since the beginning of this year, sending prices soaring

#Germany shows the ill effects of shutting down #nuclear & overbuilding "#renewables" like #solar & #wind power.

By 2025 it will have spent $550 billion to make its
#electricity nearly 2X as expensive & 10X more #carbon-intensive than #France’s
