Greek information portal pronews.gr, citing its sources in the government , reports that Greece has "transferred or will transfer" the following weapons and ammunition to Ukraine for the needs of the AFU:

β–ͺ️122 BMP-1 with ammunition for machine guns (with subsequent replacement by German Marder-1A3 or A5);

β–ͺ️60 FIM-92 Stinger MANPADS.

β–ͺ️1100 RPG-18 grenade launchers.

β–ͺ️20 thousand AK-47 assault rifles.

β–ͺ️2,100 rocket-propelled 122-mm shells.

β–ͺ️17 thousand artillery shells of 155 mm caliber.

β–ͺ️15 thousand shells of 73 mm caliber.

β–ͺ️3.2 million rounds of 7.62 mm.

Weapons and equipment come from the warehouses of the Greek army on the Aegean islands. The shipment is transported by 21 aircraft of the Armed Forces of Greece, New Zealand and Canada.

In February, Greece handed over 40 tons of "defensive equipment" to the AFU, after which the country's authorities repeatedly promised not to supply new batches of weapons to Ukraine.

Destruction of the rear, or what the Russian long-term strategy in Ukraine looks like. Made by famous Ukrainian analyst Yuri Podolyaka (May 4, 2022)

Electric transformers shortage is looming in Ukraine, which may lead to a collapse of the train movement throughout the country. Moreover, the fuel shortage is getting more and more acute by the day. RUSSIA HITS HOBBLED CHIP MARKET, LIMITING EXPORT OF NOBLE GASES

In the latest salvo in an expanding world trade war, sanctions-battered Russia has announced it will limit the export of noble #gases, a key ingredient in the manufacture of #semiconductor chips.

Through Dec. 31, any #export of those gases will require special permission from the #Russian government.

According to Russia's trade ministry, Russia accounts for nearly a third of the world's supply of three such gasesβ€”#neon, #krypton and #xenon.

"We believe that we will have an opportunity to be heard in this global chain, and this will give us some competitive advantage if it is necessary to build mutually beneficial negotiations with our colleagues," Russian deputy trade minister Vasily #Shpak told Reuters on Thursday.

The #Ukraine war has already taken a toll on the supply of noble gases. Via two companiesβ€”#Ingas and #Cryoinβ€”Ukraine itself supplies half the world's neon.

Both companies shut down in March.

Neon is used in lasers during #lithography, a part of the #chipmaking process where patterns are carved into silicon.

The Russian move promises to prolong a worldwide semiconductor supply crisis that's already wreaking havoc for a wide swath of industries that use the increasingly ubiquitous chips.   ..... MORE
