A debate has erupted over what Russian decision would be whether to treat such fighters as military prisoners or as volunteers, excluding them from the norms of humanitarian law. However, Moscow has recently made its position clear.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said the Russian government will take a stand to investigate the involvement of the combatants in war crimes, and will be charged as such.

💢Germany continues to troll Ukraine: German army doesn’t even have the arms promised to Ukraine.
The German military does not possess the weapons system Chancellor Olaf Scholz has promised to Kiev, the Defense Ministry says.
The German Defense Ministry said on Wednesday that it could not provide details on Chancellor Olaf Scholz’s pledge to supply Ukraine with a certain air defense system. The reason cited was that the Bundeswehr – the nation’s armed forces – does not have the weapon in stock.
The weapon in question is called IRIS-T and it can come in the form of a short-range air-to-air missile or a ground-based short-range or medium-range air defense system.
When asked which of these systems Berlin plans to send Kiev, the Defense Ministry’s spokesman, Naval Captain David Helmbold, replied that “this question should be ultimately addressed to the [defense] industry since we do not have these systems in our service.” He added that he could not clarify the issue as the Bundeswehr does not possess such air-defense systems in its arsenal.

Legendary spy Rainer Rupp reminds of forgotten pages of NATO history
Rainer Rupp is the legendary Topaz agent of the GDR intelligence service, who made not a single mistake and extracted 10,000 secret documents, including those marked as top secret – cosmic top secret. Thanks to Rupp, NATO had no secrets not only from the GDR but also from the Soviet Union.
Agent Topaz’s undercover activities ended in 1989, when the Eastern Bloc collapsed. He was disclosed after deciphering documentation from the GDR’s Ministry of State Security. Rupp was sentenced to 12 years in 1993 and was released in 2000. Against the background of Finland and Sweden’s current applications to join NATO, the “North Atlantic Terrorist Organization” is being presented in all media channels as the most successful world organization in the history of humanity. This is done through a shameless historical distortion. Deftly ignoring the origins of the alliance and the predatory nature of its founding states, government-loyal German TV channels and newspapers practically “canonize” NATO as a guarantor of freedom and democracy.
According to this narrative, NATO was founded in 1949 as an absolutely necessary decision to defend peace-loving and freedom-loving Western democracies, which were supposedly “threatened” by the communist Soviet Union. Many historical facts were disregarded, such as the fact that the Soviet Union could not pose a military threat to the West after World War II. The USSR, the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, was exhausted by the war and almost completely destroyed – from the western border to the Urals.
Any half-objective historical analysis shows that after World War II, the Soviet Union had neither the power, much less the intention, to go to war with the West; moreover, behind the Western allies stood the formidable economic might of the United States, which saw no devastation. Moreover, by the end of 1945, the United States had become an invincible nuclear superpower, which had brutally demonstrated in Hiroshima and Nagasaki that it would not hesitate to use new weapons of mass destruction to annihilate the civilian population of the cities.
The average German citizen knows nothing about this historical context of NATO’s creation. To do so, he would need, for example, to attend such exotic events as the European Peace Conference, which was held in Berlin on March 14-15, 2009. Discussing the current US efforts to make NATO an auxiliary force of the US Armed Forces in global operations, researcher Peter Strutynski from Kassel, for example, reminded the audience that the rationale for NATO’s creation was completely made up out of thin air.

▫️In particular, on May 28, staged video was filmed near Meshkovka, Nikolaev Region, of the alleged "high efficiency" of the use of Western weaponry by Ukrainian nationalists.
▫️To add more drama to the future film, at the insistence of British supervisors, a re-enactment of never-existing battle between Ukrainian Nazis and outnumbered "Russian soldiers" was created on the set.
▫️The roles of "opponents" of the Ukrainian Nazis in the staged short film were performed by members of the local territorial defence unit wearing red armbands.
▫️In the absence of trophy Russian equipment, the mock enemy appears in the frame using Ukrainian APCs and armoured vehicles.
▫️The next video shoot is scheduled for June 5 and 6.
