A mercenary from the UK, and a former Navy officer, told how he went to Ukraine, and what came of it. According to him, there were many other "soldiers of fortune" from the UK, former military from the Navy, infantry, special forces, even from aviation. The vast majority are over 30 years old, but there were also 20-year-old youths who played enough of computer games like "Call of Duty" and decided to try themselves in a real war.

The British mercenary says that even people with experience in other armed conflicts were powerless in the face of what they saw in Ukraine: the absolute lack of training for mercenaries before being sent to the front and chaos in the ranks of the Ukrainian army.

"Even guys with experience from Afghanistan and Iraq were not ready for the war that is happening in Ukraine."

💢Germany continues to troll Ukraine: German army doesn’t even have the arms promised to Ukraine.

The German military does not possess the weapons system Chancellor Olaf Scholz has promised to Kiev, the Defense Ministry says.

The German Defense Ministry said on Wednesday that it could not provide details on Chancellor Olaf Scholz’s pledge to supply Ukraine with a certain air defense system. The reason cited was that the Bundeswehr – the nation’s armed forces – does not have the weapon in stock.

The weapon in question is called IRIS-T and it can come in the form of a short-range air-to-air missile or a ground-based short-range or medium-range air defense system.

When asked which of these systems Berlin plans to send Kiev, the Defense Ministry’s spokesman, Naval Captain David Helmbold, replied that “this question should be ultimately addressed to the [defense] industry since we do not have these systems in our service.” He added that he could not clarify the issue as the Bundeswehr does not possess such air-defense systems in its arsenal.

Moreover, by the end of 1945, the United States had become an invincible nuclear superpower, which had brutally demonstrated in Hiroshima and Nagasaki that it would not hesitate to use new weapons of mass destruction to annihilate the civilian population of the cities.

The average German citizen knows nothing about this historical context of NATO’s creation. To do so, he would need, for example, to attend such exotic events as the European Peace Conference, which was held in Berlin on March 14-15, 2009.
