UK travellers now returning are greeted with a sign saying that if they have been in Ukraine, and witnessed a war crime, they can report that to the UK police. If the UK police are interested in information on war crimes in Donbass also, then get ready for me, we could be there for a long time....

This is more inferential proof that the Zelensky regime was planning to invade Lugansk and Donetsk in late February or early March — and the Russians simply beat them to the punch.
On Feb 15, the OSCE recorded 41 ceasefire violations as Kiev’s forces began shelling Donbas.
Feb 16: 76 violations
Feb 17: 316
Feb 18: 654
Feb 19: 1,413
Feb 20-21: 2,026
Feb 22: 1,484
…virtually all by the Kiev side.
Feb 24: Russian forces intervene

Ukraine Claims It Shot Down Russian Fighter Jet in Dogfight
According to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a Russian fighter jet was shot down by the Ukrainian air force in an aerial battle Friday (May 27) afternoon.
"Today, May 27, at about 2 pm, a MiG-29 fighter of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down a Russian Su-35 fighter in the sky of Kherson region," the air force said in a statement. The Su-35, it added, was "hunting for Ukrainian assault aircraft."
"Glory to Ukrainian pilots! Death to the occupiers!" the statement proclaimed.
"The Russian Air Force still shows no sign of running a campaign to gain air superiority," retired British Air Marshal Edward Stringer previously told Newsweek.

According to #UN figures, from 2018 to 2021,
81.4% of civilian casualties in the #Donbas war occurred in rebel-held territory as a result of Ukrainian #Minsk2 #ceasefire agreement #violations.
Whereas 16.3% were in Ukrainian gov't-controlled territory, most being Donbas response to a prior Ukrainian violation.
This is one key reality of the war that Western media refuses to report because it is too damned inconvenient for the "Ukraine is the victim!" narrative being peddled by Zelenski and his US puppet masters
Photo2 shows Data from #OSCE Ceasefire #monitors showing the vast majority of ceasefire violations were commited by Ukrainian forces against the Donbas Republics

WE’RE FIGHTING A RUINOUS PROXY WAR – BUT FOR WHICH ‘SORT’ OF UKRAINIANS?
US policy – as directed by a faction that destroys nations with no regard for the costs, nor consequences for the populations concerned – is to break Russia.
Yet there is a problem with this plan. The strategy is failing.
#Russia is not collapsing at home. Its economy is resilient and looks to be capable of surviving.
The wider world is not sanctioning Russia.
#Ukraine is not winning the war.
A global food crisis looms. This makes escalation likely and the situation ever more perilous.
It explains the insane Plan B – destroying Europe.
The sanctions – applied by the Anglosphere, the EU and Japan – are not weakening Russia.
The #EU seems determined to halt all gas and oil supply from Russia.
#Hungary, #Croatia and #Slovakia have indicated this would mean a severe economic collapse.
The multinational chemical company BASF warned of the same regarding German industry, saying production will cease with no Russian hydrocarbons.
Many German firms are preparing to go to court to sue the German government owing to the ‘dramatic repercussions’ of cutting off Russian gas and oil.
This means whole industries will halt and #Germany will deindustrialise. Europe will face #food shortages and stagflation – a toxic mixture of economic #stagnation and #inflation

CHEMICAL GIANT BASF WARNS OF CATASTROPHIC ECONOMIC COLLAPSE IF RUSSIAN GAS EXPORTS ARE HALTED
Chemical company BASF SE warned bureaucrats that cutting natural gas shipments into Europe would have a “catastrophic” impact on the economy not seen since the end of World War 2, in yet another testament of the EU’s self-sabotage and its ineptitude to comprehend the dire implications of not playing nice with Russia’s energy supplies.
In an interview with Frankfurter Allgemeine newspaper, #BASF CEO Martin #Brudermuller explained that shutting off energy imports from Russia could decimate the existence of small and medium-sized energy-consuming industries, and send #Germany’s— if not the #EU’s entire #economy— into the worst #recession in over 75 years.
Although “Germany could be independent from Russia gas in four to five years,” replacing shipments with #LNG imports from the West will not be sufficient in the meantime, he cautioned.

BASF SAYS IT WOULD STOP OUTPUT IF GAS SUPPLIES FELL TO HALF ITS NEEDS
FRANKFURT, March 30 (Reuters) - #Germany's #BASF (BASFn.DE) said on Wednesday it would have to stop production if natural gas supplies fell to less than half its needs, as the world's largest chemicals group warned of the damage to its operations from Europe's power crunch.
The comment came as Germany triggered an emergency plan to manage gas supplies on Wednesday that could see Europe's largest economy ration power if a standoff over a Russian demand to pay for #fuel with #roubles disrupts or halts supplies. read more
The company said #gas shortages would have a dual impact on chemical production: there would not be enough energy for the production process and a lack of a critical raw material for the manufacture of products.
There is no substitute for the gas as a raw material or as an energy source, it said.
In Europe, BASF uses around 60% of the gas it buys to generate energy needed in production and the remaining 40% as a raw material to produce important basic chemicals and, in the value chains based on them, a large number of products for almost all industrial sectors.
