Visible on his arm is what looks like a small British Flag.

Certain British military-connected Telegram channels (eg: https://t.me/MDeLaBrox run by an individual with British Military training and with historical military-connected family background) have been extremely quick to dismiss all talk of direct British Military involvement in Ukraine, in the form of actual Uniformed British Military officers leading Ukrainian troops, whenever British uniformed personal, or just their abandoned uniforms, appear in photos from Ukraine.
