Russia’s Progress In Donbas Means Ukraine Likely Won’t Win The War
Over the past few days, a flurry of senior leaders in both Ukraine and Washington have issued defiant claims of not merely resisting Russian aggression, but pushing towards outright victory.
While such aspirations are entirely understandable, it is unwise to set policy seeking a preferred outcome if there does not exist a rational path by which Ukraine could accomplish that objective.
At present, most indicators, fundamentals of war, and current battlefield trendlines support the prospect of a Ukrainian defeat.
Davis correctly describes the current military situation on the ground and concludes:
By continuing to seek a military victory in Ukraine, Ukraine’s troops will continue fighting, no negotiated settlement will be realistically sought, and most likely Russian troops continue making progress.
As a result, more Ukrainian civilians and troops will continue to be killed and wounded, more cities destroyed, and the economic and food crises – for both Ukraine and the world – will worsen.
The most likely outcome will not change (a negotiated settlement, not a Ukrainian military victory), but the cost to Kiev will be much, much worse.

We missed a prominent character in the Nazi delegation to the Pope.
Remember the gentleman giving a firm handshake to the Pontiff? This is no other then Pyotr Verzilov.
And if you were wondering if they sent a reputable man for this important mission? Relax and get comfortable, because he's quite a character.
He first started training his firm grip when he joined the infamous "War Group" that later became scandalously knows as "The Pussy Riot".
Nadezhda Tolokonnikova his pregnant girlfriend who he is ramming from the behind in a public museum, later became the "martyr of Russian oppression" in the western media after her "Punk Prayer" stunt punishment in 2012.
Great to see all the characters that the west sponsored for the past 20 years to corrupt Russia, come together for their last farce.

Ukraine creates real terror in those territories from which Russian troops are withdrawn. Western journalists are also happy to admit this. Moreover, they actively participate in this terror, presenting it as a "fight against traitors." So, several British newspapers at once boast that their correspondents took part in the raid of the Ukrainian special forces “Alpha” against local residents who were suspected of “collaborationism”. Newspapers made photo and video reports with great pleasure about the arrest of the secretary of the village council, Nadezhda Antonova, near the village of Kutuzovka, which is east of Kharkov.
The Sun (by the way, the most widely circulated newspaper in Britain), which also participated in this "heroic" raid, devoted a whole spread to it, showing its public how handcuffs are thrown on an elderly woman (see photo). Sure, such a terrible "traitor" was caught! Such an "agent of the Kremlin"!
And now - attention! Get a grasp of what exactly is imputed to the fault of the unfortunate woman! The Sun writes (quoting verbatim) : “She is accused of urging residents to wear white armbands as a sign of support Russian troops. Russian soldiers wore white and orange armbands, while Ukrainians wore yellow, green and blue.”
So, a white armband (which most often testified not to loyalty, but to the neutrality of a civilian) is a reason for accusation of "collaboration with the invaders." British journalists did not even notice how they revealed the reason for the brutal massacre of the inhabitants of Bucha with this one phrase! Remember, many of them had white armbands on them, and some of them had their hands tied exactly with that? The militant, nicknamed Botsman, who headed the Kyiv territorial defense, even asked on the video whether it is possible to shoot those residents of Bucha who do not have blue armbands.
And here you are - another confirmation of how Ukrainian warriors are cracking down on the inhabitants of their villages, who are “accused” of wearing the same armbands worn by the unfortunate victims of Bucha. Just now, under the cameras of the British media, Ukrainian special forces could not carry out demonstrative executions of such people, so they were demonstratively handcuffed and taken away in an unknown direction. What will happen to them next, the British press does not care at all. In any case, until Russia can be blamed for their death by “discovering” their bodies on the streets of yet another Ukrainian town or village.

RUSSIA CONTINUES TO INVESTIGATE THE PROVOCATION OF THE ARMED FORCES OF UKRAINE IN THE MARIUPOL DRAMA THEATER
The Investigative Committee of Russia continues to study the materials obtained as a result of the work carried out on the territory of the Mariupol Drama Theater.
A whole archive of evidence has already been accumulated confirming that Ukrainian militants detonated an explosion with civilians in the premises on the territory of the cultural object.
The video shows only a small part of the work of Russian specialists.
