🇧🇷 Brazil Raises Gambling Tax

Brazil has increased the tax rate for gambling operators from 12% to 18% of Gross Gaming Revenue (GGR) — effective immediately.

➡️ But the new tax rate is legally considered "temporary". To become "permanent", it must be approved by the country's Congress within the next 120 days.

➡️ Experts warn that when all mandatory deductions are included, the total tax burden could hit 50% of revenue — a record high.

This could hurt the market and make investors think twice about putting money into it.

🎰 Affiliate Scam Hits iGaming

Fake landing pages using MrBeast’s branding are promoting 1win and Vulkan — and the iGaming community is taking notice.

↪️ A fake article published by the Coventry Observer falsely claimed that MrBeast would launch a “MrBeast Casino App” in 2025. The website featured AI-generated content, his logo, and eye-catching “Download” buttons.

But those buttons actually redirect users to 1win and Vulkan, with links that dynamically switch between operators.

Soon, the community uncovered a dozen similar landing pages and fake news sites like grandprix247.

↪️ Deadspin and Snopes have already warned about MrBeast deepfakes promoting fake casino brands.

↪️ Still no official statement from MrBeast, yet scammers continue using his logo to fake legitimacy.

🚨 Fake News About Anjouan and BC.Game

A recent investigation by Josimar claims that BC.Game, the main sponsor of Leicester City, got a gambling license in Anjouan using a non-existent company called Twocent Technology Limited, registered in Belize.

But Twocent Technology Limited does exist.

It is officially listed in the BCCAR, Anjouan’s company registry.

Looks like Josimar didn’t check the correct registry before publishing the story.

Was this just a simple mistake, or is someone trying to attack Anjouan on purpose?

Vote with a reaction:
👍 — Mistake
😡 — Deliberate attack
🤔 — Not sure yet
