Do you know what a "couch potato" is? 🛋🥔

A "couch potato" is someone who spends most of their time sitting or lying on the couch watching TV or playing video games. Just like a potato doesn't move from the ground, a couch potato rarely moves from their comfy spot! It's a playful way to describe someone with a very inactive lifestyle.

Are you sometimes a couch potato on weekends? 🙃

☕️ English Phrase Explained:
'Cup of Joe' = a cup of coffee

This common American nickname for coffee dates back to the 1930s. Possibly named after Secretary of the Navy Josephus Daniels, who banned alcohol on ships (making coffee the strongest drink) or simply because 'Joe' was slang for a common person.
