Murder At The Magdala - The Tale of Ruth Ellis #Hamstead, #London, #NW3 - @themagdalaNW3

This is the tale of a murderous woman who ended her lovers life as well as Britain's female hangings. #RuthEllis has been depicted as evil and a heroine alike. By the end of her life, various others would be dead whom she'd once loved or at least loved her, though not directly by her hand. #Britain's last hangman (#AlbertPierrepoint) commented on her final, stern moments. This case changed not just Britain's practice on female punishment but its attitude towards hanging overall. If anything, it could be said that many overly glorified a woman who wasted her lovers life, her own life, and that of her families. Thank you deeply to the @themagdalaNW3 for welcoming us and permitting us to film. It was an absolute pleasure. 🤝🍻
