Federal Judge Allows Lawsuit Against the CIA by US Lawyers and Journalists to Move Forward

Lead attorney Richard Roth of The Roth Law Firm, along with plaintiffs Margaret Ratner Kunstler, a civil rights lawyer, and media lawyer Deborah Hrbek, will hold a ZOOM press conference Friday,
Dec. 22 at 1:00 pm EST to answer journalists’ questions regarding their lawsuit against the CIA for allegedly violating their Fourth Amendment rights.

Judge John G. Koeltl of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York in Manhattan rejected a CIA motion to dismiss the lawsuit brought by four American citizens alleging they were wrongfully spied on while visiting Julian Assange at the Ecuadorian embassy in London in an illicit scheme to seize the plaintiff’s electronic devices.

In his 27-page decision, Koetl said: “the plaintiffs’ complaint contains sufficient allegations that the CIA and [former CIA Director Mike] Pompeo, through [David] Morales and UC Global, violated their reasonable expectation of privacy in the contents of their electronic devices.” The Court said that because Pompeo “in an April 2017 speech ...

Pompeo ‘pledged that his office would embark upon a.‘long term’ campaign against WikiLeaks,’ ” there was sufficient reason for the case to continue

Nashville- On Monday, Tennessee Attorney General Jonathan Skrmetti filed the first-of-its-kind consumer protection lawsuit against the world’s largest asset manager, BlackRock Inc. Tennessee’s complaint alleges that Blackrock made false or misleading representations to current and potential Tennessee consumers about the extent to which Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) considerations affect BlackRock’s investment strategies.

“We allege that BlackRock’s inconsistent statements about its investment strategies deprived consumers of the ability to make an informed choice,” Attorney General Jonathan Skrmetti said in a statement. “Some public statements show a company that focuses exclusively on return on investment, others show a company that gives special consideration to environmental factors. Ultimately, I want to make certain that corporations, no matter their size, treat Tennessee consumers fairly and honestly.”

🚨🚨 I’ve been looking into this today and it turns out the president of CTIA, which oversees SHAFT and all wireless communications is a woman named Meredith Attwell Baker. She is the President of CTIA, and she was appointed in 2009 by Barack Hussein Obama as a commissioner on the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). She served in that role till 2011. Before she was appointed by Obama, she served in the Bush (43) administration as the Acting Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Communications and Information.

Is she trying to institute broad fines for subjective terms like hate as a way to harm GOP Presidential candidates (especially Trump) who use text messages to communicate?

Beginning on January 1, 2024, customers can be fined anywhere from 500 to 2000 USD per day.
