Elon Musk fight the Death
Hi fellows!
Yesterday had a chance to introduce AI simulations of clinical trials in online symposium in Brussels. Will share the video soon.
Thanks to Didier Couernelle the organizer!
We have about 350,000 hours (40 years) left and we don’t have up to 15 years (38% of the time left) to wait for all stages of clinical trials to pass to bring fundamental scientific interventions to market, with about 8% chance that they will succeed!
AI simulations one of the solutions

Maybe it’s not the best and not the only solution, but we all need to diversify our approach and use ALL options.
If you are interested to donate to our work, use a link for a donation platform or contact me directly.

Please note, that you leave tips in restaurants every day more than you donated to this kind of research!
Thanks

This seems to be a significant paper - more general AI model that predicts how mutations would affect protein structures matches performance of models specifically trained for this.

Sequence modeling and design from molecular to genome scale with Evo
The genome is a sequence that encodes the DNA, RNA, and proteins that orchestrate an organism’s function. We present Evo, a long-context genomic foundation model with a frontier architecture trained on millions of prokaryotic and phage genomes, and ...

1️⃣ Groundbreaking Discovery: Organ Rejuvenation Technology
Scientists have made a revolutionary leap in regenerative medicine with the development of *organ rejuvenation technology*. Using stem cells, they can now repair and replace damaged tissues in organs like the heart, liver, and kidneys. This innovation eliminates the need for donor organs, reduces rejection risks, and offers a powerful approach to age-related diseases. The technology is being hailed as a major step toward extending human healthspan and preventing age-related organ failure.

2️⃣ Senolytics: The Fight Against "Zombie Cells"
Senescent cells, also known as "zombie cells," stop dividing but don't die, causing inflammation and aging-related diseases. 2024 saw the rise of new *senolytic drugs* that target and destroy these cells. These drugs have shown potential in reducing inflammation and treating conditions like osteoarthritis and certain cancers. This approach is seen as a crucial pillar for future anti-aging therapies.

3️⃣ Harvard/MIT Breakthrough: Whole-Body Rejuvenation Possible?
A pioneering discovery by Harvard and MIT researchers could make *whole-body rejuvenation* a reality. Their approach focuses on reversing cellular aging through the restoration of key cellular functions. While initially tested in mice, this discovery lays the groundwork for future human applications aimed at reversing aging on a systemic level.

4️⃣ AI Surpasses Human Doctors in Diagnostics
AI is revolutionizing healthcare! In a recent study, ChatGPT 4.0 outperformed human doctors in diagnostic reasoning. The AI demonstrated better accuracy when evaluating complex medical cases, especially in areas where human doctors rely on extensive experience and intuition. This marks a new era for AI-assisted healthcare, offering faster, more accurate medical support for patients worldwide.

5️⃣ Common Drug May Boost Lifespan
A widely used drug is now being repurposed to *extend human lifespan*. Researchers at the University of Southern California found that this common drug has anti-aging properties, potentially improving healthspan and reducing the risk of chronic diseases. While the specific drug hasn't been named publicly, the study highlights the growing interest in "drug repurposing" as a key strategy in longevity science.

6️⃣ Mitochondrial Optimization: Powering Longevity
Mitochondria, the "powerhouses" of cells, are essential for energy production and play a key role in aging. New strategies in 2024 aim to *boost mitochondrial health* using gene therapies, dietary interventions, and novel drugs. Improving mitochondrial function is seen as one of the most promising ways to enhance longevity and reduce age-related diseases.
